Very upset and disappointed with the condition of the rental. Pickup location stated that truck was dropped off with no fuel in it. They had to use gas cans to get fuel in it. The fuel gauge read between 1/8 & 1/4 tank. The rental agreement said it was at 1/4 tank. The windshied was filthy inside and outside. Tried to clean the outside with the windshield wash but it was empty as well. I am going to assume that this truck was never checked in properly for the next rental. I have rented from U-haul multiple times in the past and have NEVER received a truck in this condition. I am very disappointed with this rental experience. This does not reflect well on the U-haul name and reputation.

Clean truck, friendly and professional staff.
RICHARD JMileage rates are pretty expensive seeing as how the trucks have to come back with the same amount of fuel or more. The mileage rate should be lower since the fuel has to be replaced and the rental price on top of that.
Tommy ERented a truck for 24 hours, returned the truck on time with more than the right amount of fuel. I only drove it from the rental location, to my house, to the local dump, to my house, to my storage, and back to the rental location the next morning. A couple hours after returning, I get a call from the location telling me that I had driven 1,088 miles, and I said that was impossible ( now shame on me for not taking pictures of the odometer). Rental location agreed with me and said they were going to look into it. Couple hour later she calls me back saying she had figured it out, and it was a mistake in the last dispatch, and that everything would be fixed. Couple days later I get texts to check my truck in, so I look at my app, and it says I still have an active rental for four days! So I call customer service and let them know, she sees the notes from the rental location about the mileage, but can’t tell who or why someone extended my contract to four days, so I gotta wait until the rental location opens to get more traction on the issue, plus the ASM for my area is on vacation. So I check my bank account and see that I have been charged the $79.99, plus 3 more charges for $37.42. So next day I do another round with customer service and the rental location on the phone, and was assured that everything would get fixed. So fast forward to this morning I check my back account and was charged $1,110.15 plus the three charges for $37.42. So now I’m panicking because I can’t afford that and I’m stuck waiting until customer service opens up.
