If I'm going to need to take pictures of my drivers license, why not add that step to the online registration/reservation process so it is already done when I arrive to pick up the truck?

The procedure to complete the pickup is horrible and prompts me to look for another rental truck company. The location personnel were great, the problem is Uhaul. I opted for the smart phone reservation but had no idea how to use it at the location so went inside to ask for help. They then redid the reservation as if I was a walk-in customer which involves taking a picture of my license and sending it over a text message, not secure and stupid since I am standing in the lobby of the Uhaul dealer with my license, who still needed to type in information from the card. I find if I had used my smartphone I needed two means of identification, on top of my license, such as a passport or lease agreement, to get the truck. I have used Uhaul for over forty years but this will be the last time with all the crazy, unnecessary, unsecured and time wasting procedures. I would recommend that Uhaul executives rent one of their trucks themselves and see how they like the process and decide if they would prefer another company themselves.

You can start by lower your per mile charge. 79cpm is extremely too high. I will never rent a UHaul anything. Also was charged for 2gal of gas when I filled it up. Left yard in morning with 7/8 of tank.

Location was great but the furniture dolly that I ordered was not in the truck. I am not sure if this is the location or the portals error. All of the representatives at the location were great! My only issue with this experience was the portal. I was unable to use the online aspect for pick up and drop off because I would get an error saying I was not at the proper location,even when I was in the actual building.

Appeared put out as I was told to go to another location as was requested to pick up at another location. I am disappointed that I was asked to change locations in both ends of rental. My time is valuable and not wanting to move uhaul trucks around. Challenged me on gas level which is subjective when it is Between fuel gauge zones not marked. Was quoted a rate of $149 and charged $170. Overall not a food expierence.

bad service bad equipment truck front tire is wornt out and missing big chunt of rubber after few milles of driving they are not checking the equipment , and when you drop off they make you move the truck all the way to the back and you walk all the way back to the front off store to finish the paper work bad bad bad service

Seals on Dolly and Pads were broken when I revived the truck, but I failed to check them until I reached my loading location, so I was charged for them, but I paid the charge, it is my fault for not checking and reporting them before I left.

The guy behind the counter had an attitude like he just didn't care about my situation, which was not good, due to 2 errors U-Haul made. His attitude just compounded my frustration. The 2 U-Haul errors were... 1- They gave me the wrong truck size. I asked for a 10' truck, but got a 15' truck. 2- None of the 3 U-Haul people I spoke with informed me of needing to send a photo of my DL. It wasn't until the unfriendly guy behind the counter told me, that I did this. This resulted in a 20 minute delay at pick-up.
