Clean up your reservation scam. I did not reserve the truck for 7hours and 53 minutes. I reserved it for a day. It says right on the truck 19.95 per day. All I told the reservation agent and manager is that I could possibly be back by close of day. There in lies the scam. You take what I say as when I could be back as the contract time rather than what you advertise as 19.95 per day. Unfortunately I was not able to return by 6 pm. I was charged for 2 days. My understanding was that the rental was for 24 hours. I now understand that U-Haul is operating a reservation scam. If the manager had told me it needs to be back by 6 then it would be different. I plan to move again in 2 months and if this is not resolved I will not be renting from U-Haul.jack H.

The app did not recognize this location so I had to call U-Haul and then be transferred to someone who could help locate the key rather than be directed through the app. It took more than an hour to get the key. Same when we returned the truck - app did not work because it did not recognize the location. Next time rent on a day when someone is in the office to give/take the key.Suzanne R.

When reserving the equipment, I select a pickup and drop-off location online. When I go to actually pick up the trailer, I have to choose a drop-off location again with the person making the rental. Why?Benjamin L.

Pick up process was a mess. We were called and advised to pick it up the night before after hours to avoid the heavy traffic at the store the next day. A video was sent to us to show us how to pick up after hours and get the key. When we got there, we followed the instructions of the video but it didn't work, and we didn't even see a key box (although there may have been one), because we couldn't even get that far in the process. We were about to just go home and come back the next day during business hours, when suddenly one of the workers came out to help us, which kind of shocked us because we didn't think anyone was there. He was nice and helped check in our reservation, but then things got messy. First, I had ordered a dozen pads online, but they didn't have any. Second, I had ordered 2 furniture dollys online, but he claimed there was only 1 on my order. Later (the next day) I checked my contract and sure enough I was supposed to have 2. Third, he tried to pull our truck out of the lot and got it stuck on a curb, so then he gave us a different truck and said it would be ok and he would fix it all in the morning. In the end everything turned out alright I guess, but I'm pretty sure I paid for pads and a furniture dolly that I never got. Like I said, the check in process was not great. From the online check in not working, to the guy not giving us the right equipment that we signed up for. It was just a very weird experience that I'm pretty sure is not what U-Haul expects for their customers.Jeff T.
