The start gauge for the gas tank wasn't declared to me properly. It was about 1/8th of the tank. When I returned it with the same amount of gas, I was being charged extra for not returning the vehicle with original amount of gas. Later I had to fill an extra $15 worth of gas to overcome that charge. Kindly address this discrepancy into the net invoice of the transaction. Thankyou

This location charged me more than what I was supposed to pay for my rental and never gave me a bill for the service. I received a bill at the drop off location, but it was for $0.00, however I was charged over $150 and never received a bill. I had to check my credit card to find out how much had been charged. Also took over 1 hour to get my rental despite having set everything up online the day before.

This truck was totally unsuitable for a trip from Phoenix to Ottawa. It was loud, uncomfortable to drive and it leaked when it rained. It was very loud while driving so we could not hear the radio while driving and communicating with passengers was difficult. There was virtually no place to store things on the inside of the cab, there was no glove compartment, there were no door pockets to store maps and things, there were two poorly designed cup holders that let the cups fall over. Space behind the seats was hard to access and had no way to capture stored items. We had things rolling onto the foot area frequently. There was no cruise control so my leg and foot got cramps from hours of travelling. We had to stop frequently and stretch and rest from the stressful and loud driving conditions. Whenever it rained heavily we found that water leaked in from the rear and soaked down items in the rear. We had to dry these out before putting them in storage. Overall this was a very bad experience and I cannot say that I will ever be able to rent another truck from Uhaul. On the positive side the pickup location was good and the attendant there was polite, efficient and helpful.

Terrible exprience. This guy left my account open for 28 days and during this time he rented out the truck to some other people, but I was charged for other people as well. Terrible experince. My money is stole and I’m ended up with a $35 bank overdraft fee.

The air conditioner only worked on idle. The tank of gas was almost empty at pick up and the mgr upon return (returned with almost 1/2 tank) thought she was doing me a favor by goving me a gas credit?!? The vehicle could not go faster than 35 miles per hour without it shaking and the noise inside the cab was intolerable . I also had to deliver it at a different location and wait forty five minutes for the whole check out process. It was a horrible experience and believe o should have gotten credit for the whole rental. Manager room 19 off and again thought that was a favor.

They did not have my reservation, but some how had my credit card info on file? Uhaul was located inside a gas station. This is extremely confusing. Took 30 minutes to complete the transaction/get on the road. The man who helped us was very nice and helpful, however, the Uhaul experience itself was not good.

Awful process. I called ahead to ensure that the equipment I requested was available. I was told that I needed to book online. It allowed me to book a 10' truck. I arrived at the location and was told that the employee didn't know how to rent out the U-Hauls and called her manager. I then spoke to the manager on the employee's cell phone, with him requesting that I did quick check-in to save him time. I did, but it still didn't allow me to get access to the keys. Then, he couldn't find my reservation and asked for my phone number and confirmation 3-5 times each. He said he didn't have 10' trucks so we had to upgrade to a 15' truck. That's fine, but 10' shouldn't be listed as available on the site, as he ONLY has 15' trucks. He had his employee take a picture of the driver's license, even though the number was entered into the online booking, and he didn't even have the employee track the mileage. We had her do that because we knew that it was charged by mileage as well. Finally, the mileage that we were charged was incorrect, but it was so difficult to deal with this location that I didn't even bother correcting him. I got my receipt today, Friday, April 13 and rented/returned the truck on Saturday, April 7. It's pretty ridiculous that I had to take a picture of the mileage before and after just to cover myself in case he charged an exorbitant amount. It took us about 45 minutes to actually get the truck, from arrival at the location to driving away. We only rented it for 1 hour, so it was barely worth my time. I would never use this location again. It was so unprofessional and poorly managed. I don't blame the employee, as she expressed that she wished she'd been trained in renting out the trucks. I blame the manager/owner of the site.
