No one was there at pick up time I called and the woman rushed over but was clearly irritated and couldn't wait to get out of there. I yelled to her how do you open the back and then I had to say can you come over and show me and she flipped the thing and kept going. When I got to my first destination I put up the back and it was stuck up because there's a latch that you're supposed to attach that I didn't know about. I called her and she said well it's not my fault you'll have to call that number. I told her she had to meet me back at the business because the truck was no good to me with the back open. They were two men at the business when I got back and initially they said well you know they just parked the trucks here we don't really know anything about them but they did come over and figured out the trunk and adjusted my mirrors for me and then I was off almost an hour late but I was off so my drop off was late. I've got new hauls from Cobb in St albans before and their customer service was always spot on.
I used on line drop off. Lot was clean and plenty of room.
My rental service Was just the lady that Assisted me was very nice thank you and thank you for your help everything went well
After hours drop off went well clearly marked key box and a big parking lot for all the vehicles
I think the u haul system for checking in and out is very glitchy and could use some help still
Was not open for business as stated online. Phone number on front door did not allow me to speak with a human. Had to do online/phone return which was time consuming and annoying, because I had to try multiple browsers and adjust settings to allow for location services. Asked for multiple photos. I use U-Haul because it's normally hassle free and fast. Took me 30 minutes of messing around to return truck. In the past, I basically hand over keys and go. I'll probably use a penski with lift gate next time.
No one there, seems like a closed business.
Not much to improve on the lady was very professional and answered all our questions. She walked us though everything dealing with equipment. She is an asset to uhaul.
It would have been more convenient to know we would have to drive 40 miles extra to pick up the haul a few days earlier, instead of two days before. We had already booked movers to come at a certain time, but then when we learned we could not pick up the uhaul at the place we reserved it until two days before, we had to change our plans quite a bit and lost some money in the process.
I was having difficulty using the location feature to check in using my phone so I went into the building. A located a staff person who was not very receptive and told me they were not open that I needed to do everything outside. A sign stating this on the door would be helpful since registering online gave me both options so I thought it would be ok to go inside for help. I understand that Covid is scary, but social distancing does not mean being anti-social or annoyed by customers. Verizon connection at this site is less than adequate. It took me about 20 mins to complete the process outside. After that, everything was great!!
We drove 45 mins to drop off trailer after being told by call center that it would be open 8am-11am. Store was closed, however woman (I believe owner) was inside working and said â€œwe are closed todayâ€ (at around 8:30am) and wouldn't come out to help us. We couldn't get U-Haul return app to work and sat in parking lot for 45 mins trying to get someone on phone to help us. Regional call center was rude, but we finally spoke to someone in U-Haul home office that was nice and assured us we wouldn't be charged for extra days if we left the trailer in parking lot.
Great experience. The lady that assisted me was very nice and helped me get everything set up before leaving. Great experience.

Not much inventory
I thought the person was rude from the day I reserved the U Haul on the phone. When I talked to her the day of pick up she didn't explain the information on the truck or how the mileage worked because I didn't understand. After I figured out she was saying it was. 99 cents a mile I understood why she was asking. I dropped it off at 11:05 . I used it less than 3 hours. I do not have internet service so there was no way for me to go on line to tell her/U haul I dropped it of Sat. At 11:05 A young kid around his 30's. Pulled in the U Haul place and opened a side door. I explained to him that I was dropping it off and didn't know how to do anything via the internet because I had no means to. He explained to me that he would talk to her and explain things. I stopped back by Monday morning to make sure everything was all right. She said everything is fine. I charged you card $90.00 plus dollars .I asked why so much. She said I didn't check in via the internet when done using the truck and the kid has nothing to do with her business .He owns the other business on the other part of the building. I explained to her it's all one building. Your just in the office part how was I supposed to know. She ruidly told me that's not her problem. (I believe the young man is the son that runs the Uhaul business. So basically from the day I called to reserve the truck and the day of pick up and Monday to see everything was all good she was very rude and demeaning. I have rented U Hauls for over 35 years. She was so rude I am thinking of just using Penske rental from now on do to he total disrespect to a myself.(I am a disabled veteran ) I have explained her rudeness to people I know around the area close to that Uhaul place. They automatically knew who I was talking about and agreed she in basically is none informative and very rude. I believe my bill should not have exceeded $70.00. Although I was only charged $20.00 plus more it is not about the money. She was rude,non informational demeaning and should in know way represent Uhaul if you are eating her by costumer service. She basically was asking as if I was wasteing her time and again very rude. I have never in my life have been talked down to by anyone. Especially someone 20 plus years younger than me. Word of mouth travels fast. And I plan on telling my friends my whole encounter with her and Uhaul. I rented it Saturday and still very upset by her actions. No one should be treated how she treated me. And cannot believe U Haul would condone such conduct in there rental business. If they rate places and people on there conduct and costumer service from 1 to 10 I would rate her and the business zero across the whole thing. Very discouraged about the whole experience.
I made the reservation for pick up using the mobile application but unfortunately the app was not working in that location - it did not seem to be able to locate me/the truck. Fortunately the staff at First Response Labor was very helpful.
We need a cargo van on saint Albans location vt
Customer service was excellent as well as the vehicle. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. However, we spent half an hour in the parking lot trying to figure out how to use the website when we returned the vehicle. To us it was not very straight forward. We lleft the vehicle and went home not knowing if had to pay a penalty.
We were told at this location that we can return the truck to any location and are not limited to the one we chose when we booked the rental. When calling customer service we learned this was not accurate and would be charged for a different destination.
