1. trailer bed was a bit dirty - only cosmetic 2. Checkout was complete, helpful and efficient: 5-star 3. Check in took 2 phone calls to get a receipt 4. Appreciate being able to drop the trailer at 11pm on a Saturday night even with no attendants.

I've already talked to customer service, but I am very unhappy about my experience with uHaul. Even though the truck worked fine, because the trailer was broke down I had to wait 3 hours for road side assistance, I had to pick up at two different place due to no locations have both items I had to issue separate complaints. Meaning although I received a refund for the tow trailer, I am still waiting to hear back from the truck. The truck did rev the engine going down hills now matter how slow I drove. The RPM would jump up to 4 and get stuck there until I switched to neutral. Upon returning the truck I was told it was normal, but I don't think It should have been as extreme as it was. Due to this and the trailer with zip ties and a bungy cord holding it together I felt very unsafe.

Helpful in letting us return the trailer 30 min after their closing, so that I didn't have to tow the empty trailer to a motel in SV, which didn't have parking space for my SUV plus the 6x12 trailer.

Overall the location and equipment met my needs, though I feel I'm being unfairly charged for fuel as I had refuelled per the chart which was provided. And the fuel level mentioned in the final invoice is not what the fuel level was when I left the truck.

It is always easy and stress-free to rent from the Sunnyvale U-Haul location (especially when using the register in advance feature.) It literally took only a few minutes to arrive, provide my ID and a credit card and get on the road with the rental truck. The personnel at the Sunnyvale U-Haul location are always friendly and helpful.

Terrible experience. I placed my order online in advance. When I arrived at the Uhaul, I was told they didn't have my reservation on file. Manager was useless and showed no empathy. Had to rent a truck (i ordered a trailer) which meant I had to make an extra trip to pick up my truck. Moving is a headache as it is, Uhaul only made it worse. Your phone customer services is perhaps the worst I've ever experience. If I could avoid it, I will never use uhaul again.

I seriously recommend the advance check-in option! It saved a lot of time. Your employee at the Sunnyvale U-Haul location was very helpful and friendly! It was the easiest rental experience I ever had. I highly recommend this U-Haul location.

Made a phone reservation for 17ft box trk pickup @ Milpitas wanted it for 3 days told only 1 day To check with local dealer for multiple days Went to local dealer was told only one day, changed res from Friday to Saturday 9am. On Sat 9am told my Reservation was LOST. Agent called found truck in Sunnyvale. Although there were at least five 15/17 ft box trucks SITTING in the Milpitas yard. Not only did I have to pay for additional miles form @ to the drop off, also had to pay my moving crew for three hour stand by time. And the truck should have been retired 5 years ago. When I need a box truck in the future UHaul will not be on the top of my call list

The staff guy that helped me was clearly unhappy with his job. For some reason the SafeMove insurance that I selected online when making the reservation didn't get added to my order, and he only made that clear when we were at the truck, and he was super miffed about having to go back inside and change the contract, making it seem like it was my fault that the website didn't get it right. Also, because I purchased a mattress bag online, but my reservation got moved to a different location that had a truck available, I wasn't able to pick up the mattress bag at the store (have to go to the one I originally selected). This is pretty stupid on u-haul's part, that order should change to the store that I'm picking up at, since nobody has time to visit 2 u-haul stores on the day of their move.

Cass was excellent. I heard him tell a customer how many gallons she would need to refill. I found that helpful as my person did not tell me when i picked up. I kept having to get in and out of my car and pump more. Cass even was able to direct me to the bus stop to get home. He is an excellent employee.

so the uhaul place was very spacious, and no customer parking was not understandable. I understand that you do not want to occupy your parking lots with customers' cars but what staff members told me made me very upset and not want to use the location at all. they said "you need to move your car somewhere else" so I asked "where do you recommend?" she said "on the street" I asked "if there is no spot then what do you recommend?" she said "I dont know. you figure it out" What?? what kind of customer services is that? a staff who helped me out at the check out desk, was very unfriendly, did not explain things, did not answer my questions, did not satisfy me with her answers, very rude, and made me very upset. "another contact information" she said. "why? would you explain?" "it is a contract" What? what kind of explanation is that? "anything else?" "how much is a dolly?" "it is up there" what kind of help is that? while she was working on my case, she used her cell phones. you need to train your staffs with manners and being professional. I rather go to gas stations and rent uhaul trucks or vans out. they are way more friendly and professional.

I picked up my truck on Friday and asked if I could keep it a extra day. I was told no and that there would not be any trucks available. I asked if in 24 hours I could exchange the truck for a different size and again I was told there wouldn't be any trucks available. I next asked if I could maybe delay renting the truck so my drop off in 24 hours could be later in the day ,yet again I was told no trucks available ... So I rented the truck and went home and immediatly reserved a truck for the next day (none available?). My pick up reservation was for 2pm the next day and my turn in time was 12pm for my current truck. I turned in my truck at 12pm and went back at 2pm to pick up my new truck and guess what.... It was exactly the same truck. How much extra was I charged to disrupt my plans and stop my move ? Is this a normal practice? The only reason for my rating being more then 1 star was because the service I received from Miles.
