People at the check in can be a lot friendlier. I have rented twice in this location and both times - it was the same thing. At least the person at the drop off was friendlier.

- I booked for another place, but ended up picking up from Sunnyvale office. If that's the case, website should not let me book over another place. - I was trying to update my pickup time, but I was not successful. There was no option to update it on website. And call center agents couldn't do anything either.

Renters should be able to park their cars at the location. Online services require two alternative contacts, anyone of them not answering will directly reject my self serving process. This is stupid! If you only call once, missing rate is supper high. Also do have some better instructions at providing two alternative contacts step.

Designate where to park a vehicle when leaving a car so it doesn't get blocked in. Almost had to leave my car overnight, but was able to get out (tight squeeze and my friend helped).

The guy who helped me was excellent, however my equipment wasn't available as promised (we found a solution)...the extra items I purchased were at the other location that I had originally rented from vs Customer Service transferring all my items to new location...trailer was dirty on inside (while not a big deal, it was still dirty)

This LOCATION is very good, but U-Haul corporation is very difficult to deal with. In order to make a reservation you can't just ask if a piece of equipment is available at a particular location. U-Haul first needs to know all about you - your name, email, phone number, vehicle type, towing capacity, tongue capacity, etc. - before they will answer any questions. Keep in mind that you are required to conform to THEIR system if you want to do business with them.

I had to insist on getting a guarantee a week in advance to ensure no last minute changes. The people I spoke with over the phone wanted to wait until the day before pickup. The first just put me on hold and left me there for someone else to pick up who had no idea what my call was about. The second put me in contact with the right person, while admonishing me that usual policy was to finalize schedule only 24 hours in advance. The the third finalized the schedule with a "guarantee", but that guarantee proved to be useless. Oh and I got another lecture about 24 hour policy. We were "guaranteed" to pick up a trailer on Sunday 4/1. When we arrived the trailer had not been checked and on hookup to our vehicle, the right rear light was out. At first your employee tried to get us to take the trailer with the light out, offering $50 for equipment problem. We declined the trailer for safety reasons. No other trailer was available but we had a move to make with plans contingent on this load. When I began asking about a cargo van, your employee was very resistant. I have no clue why. We took the 1 week 750 mile option for $330 after a long argument. Our expected mileage was about 500 miles, and was asserting that we had to put 750 miles on the vehicle to get the $330 rate. Of course that makes no sense at all, and would run counter to any business interest of U-Haul and every other vehicle rental procedure on the planet. Eventually he called someone at your company and got set straight. Additionally, going from a trailer to a van much more than doubled my costs. This is my third negative interaction with U-Haul during this move: 1-First one there was confusion about where the trailer would be located and where we could pick up one of your balls. That required gong to two different U-Haul dealers 2-The alterations of location and time were so severe compared to what we booked on line that it no longer made sense to rent the trailer. So I canceled 3-The scheduling issues mentioned above. The equipment was not ready and had not been checked after last use, and as I wrote above, your employee was uncooperative and uninformed regarding your policies. That is in addition to the additional cost. **** Your company has serious customer service problems. The on-line booking is very near useless. Planning a move with only 24 hours guarantee on equipment availability is ridiculous. Un-serviceable equipment that hasn't been checked Rude employees Under trained employees that do not understand how a rental works. I will be following up with your company as well as exploring legal options for recouping the difference between what I was promised, and what I had to spend.

I really liked friendly and welcoming staff with courtesy and patience to help me with quick process of signing the contract and giving me the vehicle I need. The staff suggested some places on street where I could find parking for my own car. When I returned the vehicle, I told about fuel level discrepancy between what the vehicle actually had vs. what was written in contract. The associate immediately waived off unnecessary fuel charges.

This uhaul store is like a dictator, I saw 3 ford cargo van in the parking lot and they did’t let me to choose Ford and only allow me to take the dump Chevy which is too hard to drive and I almost got an accident. Dictator!

The wait for check in was totally unexceptable. I had a trailer reservation and waited over 30 minutes to be helped. It would have been much longer but numerous people in line in front of me simply gave up and left. Crew was very nice and helpful when I finally made it to the counter.
