Face mask were not mandatory inside especially for customers. As a customer I would definitely feel unsafe it they are not enforced in a closed space.

They charged me two utility dolls when I only rented one. They charged me fuel refilling when I returned it at the right level. I wrote to them with these complains and never got a reply. They play small tricks to squeeze out more money from their clients. I'll never use their services again.
While there was a mistake with my initial reservation (didn't have a truck), I was able to get a van and my overall experience was good. Thanks to the staff who cleaned the van and managed check-out and check-in!

10' truck doesn't have a ramp and makes life very difficult - please add ramps to the small trucks. Also, doesn't fit king size bed. Should be more clear that medium sized furniture or king size beds recommend minimum 15' truck.
The vehicle was in good mechanical condition, making it relatively easy to drive. This is not always the case when renting trucks and was greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I use App to book a car. But there was another person got the same car by counter. So I had to go to the counter to exchange for another car eventually
I scheduled a reservation online for Saturday 6/20. I'm an RN working with COVID positive patients. I'm moving closer to my hospital, and to protect UHAUL staff I attempted to use the app to pick up my vehicle. The app would not allow me to do the first step (photo of driver) so I went into the store for regular pickup. I entered, myself wearing a mask, to find 4 customers in the store (3 browsing, 1 in line being helped), all wearing masks. The UHAUL employee behind the counter was not wearing a mask and stepped out several times from behind the barrier to help. He was in the middle of getting out his phone and telling the customer he was helping (who was masked) that his phone said he didn't need to wear a mask and that masks were harmful to the wearer. This is in Santa Clara county, where mask wearing is mandatory outside, and for those working as well, including those covered by ADA in public facing roles. For those with disability, they must be reassigned to different roles if they cannot wear a mask due to condition, or wear one to protect the public. I said to the employee, this information is incorrect, I work in a hospital, and right now 5 customers are protecting you but you are not doing the same. To this, he responded several things: 1. He was wearing a mask (it was around his neck like a tie, and hidden beneath his shirt.) Yes, he had a mask on his person but it was not on his face and most importantly, not covering his mouth nor nose and therefore he was exposing every customer in the store 2. This "mask wearing" under the shirt and not covering mouth nor nose was appropriate to current UHAUL policy in Santa Clara County. 3. He was the assistant manager of the store. When asked for his name, he refused to give it to me.He would only respond that the store manager was "J.T." and that he was not in on weekends. 4. The assistant manager stated J.T. the store manager was aware that he did not cover his face and nose and was okay with him exposing customers while on duty. 5. He attempted to refuse me service because I requested he wear a mask (remember, I work in a hospital, and the surgical mask I was wearing was not an N95 and doesn't protect me). 5. Your assistant manager stated I was 100% protected because I was wearing a mask (incorrect)-to which I informed him, was not the case. After refusing service initially, to which I said that was fine, please cancel my contract and I will go elsewhere, he said he would get another employee to help me. The assistant manager left, came back inside, and I stood another 10-15 minutes without help while he helped another (masked) customer. This customer had an elderly family member with them. After they were finished, I asked if there would be someone else to help me. He again refused service stating that it was within his "rights"-I agree, private business, I just needed to know if I should leave or stay and wait for another employee. Have customer parking, or atleast tell people on the reservation or website there is no customer parking so they can prepare in advance or not have to waste rental time moving their car. Please remove the cardboard windshield advertisements before renting vehicles.
