The young man who helped was awesome. Very pleasant and efficient was he was the only staff member working on a busy, rainy Friday. He hooked up my auto tranporter in the rain and took time to tell me to check at rest stops and gas breaks to make sure the tie downs did not loosen up. Very pleasant and professional.

5. After reviewing our documents, my email contract and the contract that the pickup site gave me had two different locations. I called both facilities over the course of the next two days, and unfortunately I was unable to get a rep on the phone at either location. The phone also did not forward me to uhaul customer service as it was supposed to.

This rental office is awesome but needs more than one person working weekends. The guy can’t check stuff in and out and take care of people walking in at the same time. This place is way too busy for one person to handle.

Not only did I have to deal with a horrible experience at the initial pick-up location on my reservation, but the drop-off was just as bad. I was texted a drop-off location for the U-haul and trailer after I arrived in Summerville. However as it was Sunday, the location I went to was closed. I then had to call around to different locations to see which were open, and then drive all the way across town to drop off. While the location and staff working was nice, for some reason they only had one employee working one of the only drop off points that was open. Therefore, the location was over-crowded with people and U-hauls all trying to receive service at once.

Thought I was signing same contract as week before. They shorted me over 20 miles then charged me extra when I returned the truck. And overcharged me for gas even though I put more in than required. I called to complain and got treated rudely. So much for customer service.

I couldn't believe how bad the service was. I had a pick up scheduled at 11:00am when I came the door was locked and no one inside. Another customer pulled up and was also upset and told me this is always an issue at this location. The UPS driver also came and had no luck. I waited for 30 more minutes and was right about to leave then finally two employees pulled up in a golf cart to open the door. I told him two other people left and I was about to leave also. He responded "thats fine with me if u leave" !!! I was appalled and shocked. I was already behind on time so I was desperate to accept the rental. He was explaining to me how they need more help because they also manage a storage facilitybandvtwo people is not enough. Never seen anything like this. Really nice looking facility to have such bad service. Returned the trailer back the same night so I wouldn't have to deal with him again. Called the next day two times and never got an answer of course no one is ever at the front counter.

The trailer straps did not work for the tires I had and I even asked before I got it they said they would fit 35s I have 33s and it did not fit so I was forced to buy other straps which set me back a day of getting the trailer returned and I had to pay for that day because of they're lack of information on uhauls equipment

Truck was fine but car dolly had a tail light "pop"off while driving down the road. It had obviously been repaired before but done poorly. Very dangerous to have to stop along the interstate to try to fix it.

When customers drop off the equipment, ensure they park in a way that allows others to drop their equipment off easily. Because of the way other vehicles were parked, it was very difficult for me to drop off the trailer I had rented because I could not turn around after pulling into the parking lot. I would have backed in originally if I had known there was insufficient space to turn around.

I rented a tow dolly. Location needs to replace rubber grommets on safety chains, they were missing. I had to pull over twice to resecure chains. I will always get my rentals from this location. Always a great experience!
