Easy after-hours drop-off. Overall excellent experience. The 6' x 12' trailer performed very well and was an easy tow. Only thing that could be better is if I knew how to back-up with a trailer ;)

Cyrstal Luchie working at Uhaul at the Summerville location - said she was going to reach out to the person that rented me the truck ...yet her name is on this receipt so I don't understand why she would tell me she is going to contact the person that rented the truck out to us yesterday, when her name is on the receipt!!! I am very upset and at this I feel lied to and almost taken advantage of. It clearly says on the receipt here 19.95 and not 39.90 to rent this vehicle. She charged my account for 37.92 yesterday and then today wanted another $80.00 then it went down to $60.00 and then it went own to $18.00. Is someone trying to put money in their own Pocket? Taking advantage of customers credit cards is a crime and should not be taken lightly! As a Company, you should know who has paid and who has not paid and what the balance is...clearly, this morning you had no idea what was owed and tried top get me for $80.00 and then dropped it to $60.00 and then $18.00 when I ALREADY PAID YESTERDAY $37.92! This is not professional and I will tell everyone not to rent from you as you take advantage of peoples Credit cards and Over Bill! Worst experience ever and I have since had to block you from Charging my Card AGAIN! From what I can read on the net - this would not be thier first rodeo of taking advantage of your customers. Lost my future business and anyone else I can detour from coming to you!

I would have kept the truck the full two days if I had known I would be charged for two full days. I received a phone call advising the truck needed to be back at noon as another customer was waiting. I rushed and took it back, borrowing a friends truck to finish job. Why reference 1 day and 3 hrs on the update if I was to be billed for 2 full days and be expected to only use it 3 hours of the 2nd Day billing?

Very poor service received from this location. Confirmed a time online, and when I arrived, no one was there. When they finally showed up, they were rude made it seem like it was my fault. No apology received. Very poor management and organization.

All was as it should be. It would be nice if a discount could be given to people who have helped recover lost or stolen property from U-Haul . I have recovered one trailer and one tow behind with nothing but a thank you. It was my pleasure to do right but something would have been nice. Have a great day.

I had to do everything myself and then wait for it to be checked by attendant. Got the oldest, ugliest trailer on the lot. Somewhat disappointed.

People were very nice. The vehicle was dirty inside and out. Older truck, ran very rough. Spent $10 in gas, Felt like it was going to stall at light. Otherwise a smooth process. A cleaner truck and it would have been a lot better.

I was disappointed in this experience in that the equipment that I had reserved was not all there and there was a bad computer glitch that kept me there for 2 or 2.5 hours to correct. I was given no discount for the wait and it was totally not my fault. The personnel were courteous but it was still a bad experience.

I will never use Uhaul again in my life. I have had the absolute worst experience ever. Not to mention the district manager who contacted me had no customer service training obviously, it seems as though I was a bother to his Sunday. He charged me extra AFTER I was honest with him about taking a dolley and blankets that I was told by someone in the office on Saturday that I could use for FREE (he claimed this was not protocol to give free items to use and said he HAD to charge me....this was after my 3 hour nightmare. Hard to believe a true manager would do that to a customer who had already dealt with incompetent people and having a nightmare to deal with. He was more concerned with adding charges to my bill after I had previously explained to him that I was told it would be free). When I went to the lot to retrieve my reservation at 11am there was NO key on back tire. In fact it was nowhere to be found. We searched the grounds with no luck. Called 1-800-GO-UHAUL. Spoke to no less than 5 people and every single one either hung up on me after 15 to 20 minutes or transferred me back in que without warning. A complete and total nightmare. They have now double charged my card because I ended up having two reservations. I had to pay my moving guys TWO extra hours because of this disaster as well. I have told all of my family and friends not to use this company for anything in the future. I went with this specific Uhaul dealer because I rent a storage unit on their lot. And have been for over 3 1/2 years. I will be cancelling that as soon as I can as well. What I had to deal with today with horrible customer service, paying extra money for extra time with movers, the headache of the whole situation with someone not leaving a key for a reservation that was made the day prior (knowing their office is closed on Sundays but can still reserve through the app) and of course speaking to the so called district manager who really was no help for me whatsoever and honestly just made matters worse.....was enough to turn my business away for good. I will be filing a formal complaint and will be taking legal action if corporate cannot take immediate action with rectifying a horrible and unnecessary situation.
