My issue is more with U-Haul, not the pick up location. I rented online and did the pre check in as well. It was a waste of my time. Pre check in did not save any time. The online preregistration was useless. Furthermore, the trailer promised was not there. We had to redo all the paperwork which took even more time. It took almost an hour to sort through all this crap. I got the right size trailer, but the online promises are a joke.

Truck gas tank was only at 1/8 at the time of pickup. In order to proceed I needed to fill the gas tank for $71 . I returned the truck 3/4 full which means I paid about $40 more in gas then I needed just to make sure I didnt return the truck with less gas.

Spent 4 hours, on the phone, making reservations. The original contracted location, in Mt. Vernon TX, is permanently closed. Went to 2nd location in MV, no trucks at all. Sent us to Sulphur Springs When we walked in, the man told us he had a 26 ft truck set aside for us. After waiting over an hour, no truck. Had to take a 20 ft truck. 4 people were on the clock! Waiting for us to show up with the truck. Got the truck half full and 2 loaders had to leave, other obligations. Full truck back to Lavon, unloaded after midnight. Could not get everything in that truck, so I'm still not moved! Terrible experience! Out $200 extra for loaders to stand around and wait! When we finally got in the truck it was after 2PM, our paperwork was not changed. We drove an extra hour, backtracking, to get a truck. In the end U-Haul had the audacity to charge for an extra mile! This, after we paid for all the gas, for car and truck for all the runaround! I fully expect reimbursement for truck and labour. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life.

MY truck was set up for a one-way rental but I was charged for two days. We can start by provide clarification on why a One Way drop-off is charged for 2 days. Other than that increase your level of customer service skills and experience putting people the desk who are willing to help those who come in for rentals

Rental experience was quick and personnel were extremely friendly and polite. Plenty of assistance during hook up and checkout of unit. The unit was clean and in excellent shape. I would highly recommend this location to rent U-Haul equipment. Pat Nelson

We had a tooth fall off the light harness so after we got home we didnt have lights on the tow dolly to return it to the drop off location. Also the ratchets to tighten the straps around the front tires did NOT open fully so we could hardly get them to ratchet more than one or two clicks at a time. They would not fully extend. After we got home we sprayed with WD-40 and by the time we returned it they were working properly. They people at FIX and Feed were more than helpful. They were amazing and even offered to stay late for me to arrive. I was driving from Fort Worth to outside of Sulphur Springs to pick up my son that was stranded on the side of the highway. It was pouring down rain and the employee ran around the parking lot to find the tow dolly the system had assigned to my reservation. He hooked up the dolly and made sure all the lights were working. I can't say enough good about the pick up location. They were so helpful! When I talked to them on the phone they gave me instructions how to find thier location. I drove straight there. I had google Mapped their location and it kept trying to get me to turn long before the exit they told me. Had I exited on either of the exits the GPS was trying to get me to I would have had to circle around down again because it took me way off the direct path. The instructions they have me was only about 1 mile off the interstate and I only lost a few minutes getting there and getting the tow dolly. Otherwise it would have been a much more indirect path and more wasted time

I went to Fix and Feed to rent the truck. I was told they had no trucks available. So I went online and rented the same truck at their location that they said was unavailable. The exterior of the truck had bugs covering the front of the vehicle. Not bitter or unset, just passing to for review.

The Uhaul wasn't wanting to shift gears. The transmission needs to be checked out in that Uhaul. Also my estimated cost was 138.00 and when I returned it they said I didn't use all the miles so my credit card would only be charged 121.00. So far to date my charge on Uhaul is the 138.00 . I just need to know how to get the 16.00 back from y'all.

At a terrible and stressful start at the dealer ( Texas Barrel ) because the agent I set up my rental with failed to tell me that this store had a young lady that would leave the office at 3 pm to pick up her children at school and no one else would be there. I tried to call her when it looked like time would be tight because my GPS failed me on directions. She stated She had to leave and was not coming back. She was giving directions as I was within 3 miles of her store. and was leaving when I pulled in. She stayed on the phone with me and tried to help me find the store on Gilmer which I found but they didn't have the size trailer I needed. I asked the young lady at Fix and Feed to call the main office and transfer the correct size trailer to her store since it was so close. The main office allowed her to do so and she volunteered with approval to take me to the other location and I believe her boss road with her and helped to load up the trailer I needed. These 2 saved my day and were great to deal. They did what I asked instead of sending me down the road. Excellent team work. On a scale of 1 to 10 they are a 20. I would give the person who set me up at reservations office a 5 for failing me they had a store that closed early on a week day. And a 5 to the girl who couldn't wait a few minutes to get me out from Texas Barrel.
