It wasn't clear where to drop off the truck. During the mobile return I didn't see anything about a code for the gate. Someone saw me and helped out but it feels like it should have been a part of the return process in case someone wasn't there.
Through it all, as long as we have Glenn, Penny, and Paul we will stand tall.
Even though this was online pickup/checkin it actually isn't. The renter will believe that the key and packaging items are already in the truck, but that's not the case. I still had to engage with the owner. Also it wasn't until I had checked the truck in, touched bases with the owner regarding the handcart and blankets that were left in the truck did I get home and checked a text message as to take photos as proof of return of these items. This SHOULD be included with the truck checkin. I do not want to be charged an additional $20 because it was an easy oversight
On the website there were two options. But in the rent location is only one the app , is so confusing

Staff greeted me, made sure I didn't have any trouble and was available to assist even though I did mobile check in. Very courteous and helpful. Much appreciated it.
The ridiculous requests that I had to fulfill on-site were absolutely unexpected and egregious. I had already proactively uploaded my license information and had to do it again 3 times on-site in the broiling sun. Then I was requested to provide an alternate form of identification or a contact to verify who I was. As if you expected me to have a Passport or a copy of a lease with me? I was only renting a pickup truck for two hours! At no point in making the reservation or uploading any of my information was it explained that I would need to provide this additional documentation on-site. It was a huge inconvenience and I hope to never have to go through this again if I choose to rent from UHaul in the future.

Best customer service I have ever had with a U-Haul rental. Equipment was ready when promised, he helped hook up the trailer, and answered all my questions. They made the process easy and enjoyable. If needed, will definately return to this location again!

It took way to long to approve, both myself and phone over heated. The lady told me I didn't have a booking it took me breaking down in tears to get help.
Simply the best even without contact.
Too much trouble for dropping off the key. She just need to make sure the gas is filled up and the ending mileage. I took picture and she saw it already but she wanted to send picture which is too much for an old guy like me. Not a good experience.
Lady in office was ignoring the customer and was rude when I was trying to get her attention.
Dent in car was not identified with â€œxâ€. Not sure if anyone checks these thoroughly after they are returned.
Allow customer options on pickup location and equipment when reservation is fulfilled differently versus what equipment and location was originally reserved. Particularly important when location was selected for certain Equipment which in the end is substituted out By U-Haul and the pickup location of the substitute equipment Is moved to a more inconvenient location
Easy rental, Easy return. No change
The location was fine. Your Uhaul app is beyond terrible. I loaded the app and registered and it repeatedly said it couldn't find my password. I registered 3 times with the same credentials. Same result. So I spent an hour on the phone with you trying to figure it out. When I went to pick up the truck the app is terrible to work with. Then it took 15 minutes for the approval to come back. When I returned the truck the app would only say my rental wasn't eligible for the app return. That's a problem when the location won't let you go inside due to the virus. So in the end - the facility people were great - but your app made this experience horrible. If you are going to force people to do the entire process through the app then make a better app and get your overall act together. Not sure I would rent a Uhaul again.
