Have equipment in location of preferred pick up location. Had to drive north to next city, then South back to load trailer, and then back north past non selected pick up place to final destination. It would have been nicer to grab trailor at preferred pick up spot instead of all the run around.

I already called yesterday about this but I'll reiterate it here... I will NEVER use that facility again! If yo have bad/no customer service skills then you should not be dealing with customers! Only at the end when the guy basically started yelling at me did he blame the Uhaul system for the problems. The whole process yesterday was horrible! Had I not had a tight schedule to meet I would have left an went to another facility!! NO customer should ever be yelled at and intimidated with threats of taking the equipment back and leaving me with nothing! The guy that 'worked' with me was an arrogant jerk! He was frustrated working with a system he (obviously) didn't know how to use and took it out on me. Yes, I was frustrated because I had already reserved the equipment the day before... AND paid for it.... on the Uhaul website so this SHOULD have only take a couple minutes to hook the trailer up but instead took almost 40 minutes of him filling out info I'd already filled out; re-entering my CC info; messing up and having to start over; not filling out all the info and not understanding why the 'next' button wasn't available for him to click! If you know a customer isn't happy with what's going on....IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT EITHER SO ON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THEM WHEN YOU GET FRUSTRATED! My sister was with me and was just as floored with this guys attitude as I was! He obviously, as I said initially, unfamiliar with good customer service and how to handle easing a situation that may cause a customer to get frustrated. He should have, from the get go, just apologized for having to seemingly start over and explained 'it's the Uhaul system' and have been nicer about it and I would have been a little more understanding. Secondly, Uhaul really needs to work on their system. If I reserve something online and pay for it.... I shouldn't even have to deal with a person at the site... or at most the only dealing should be for them to hook up the trailer or provide a key for the vehicle!

Please lower the mileage fee from .99/mile. It gets rather expensive even for the approximate 310 miles that I traveled.

Chain from the dolly to secure the transport vehicle fell off during the trip. The bolt that holds the end of the chain to the to the dolly near the ratchet handle worked lose. A nylon locking nut and washer were found in the “cubby”.

It was my worst uhaul rental ever. My entire pickup reservation was screwed up because of a change to your uhaul web page. This made a very long bad day that one never forgets. We got the trailer very late in the day, which was bad.

The associate explained I was to return the unit CLEAN when completed with my intended use . I rented a 5x9 Ramp Trailer . I hooked up to the trailer with NO help from the associate , The trailer was full of oil spray on the outside and the inside floor had some type of chemicals spilled inside on the floor. It was necessary to take it first and power wash the trailer before I could use it .. I would say that the sales associate is LAZY in that he did not clean and prepare this unit for rental . There was nothing wrong with the location or the equipment, it was all the running around that U-Haul had me doing. They sent me to a different city to pick up the truck, a different city to pick up the trailer, the location that had a trailer closed at noon, was sent finally to the start event location, entire pick up time for all equipment totaled more than 4 hours.

I would recommend that for future rentals being returned after hours, the store workers explain how the return process works before the renter leaves the store. Having to complete mobile check-out would not have worked had I not had a charged phone with me, and I wouldn't have been able to take pictures of the interior if I had already dropped the keys into a box. Knowing the process beforehand would have better prepared me. In addition, I think this location needs a bigger dropbox so that keys can actually fit inside. That said, the workers here were very accommodating and helped me add a last minute dolly to my order.

Help customer hook up trailer. Make sure there is the effort to help. Customer should not have to ask for help and the location should not ask customer if they would like help either. It should just be a policy that the location go to the vehicle and help hook up no matter what.

My husband drove the truck almost 1000 miles and said there was intermittent waves of a smell of something dead. Upon arrival he investigated and someone had placed a raw eff under the driver seat and it was full of maggots. We reported this to our original location as well as 800 #, both said "I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do". I think we should have received a refund of some kind.
