I booked my reservation at westwood mini storage cause it's across the street from my office- went to pick the truck up & it wasn't there. They moved the reservation to a different location. I never received a call or an email letting me know the change. Both places were nice & courteous, just would have liked a heads up

I originally reserved a transit van at a rate of $19.95 + $0.59/mile. I received a call the day of the rental telling me the transit van would not be available, but there was a 10' truck I could use. I was assured that the rate would be the same, since I had not made the change. When I received the invoice by email, I was charged $0.79/mile, costing me an extra $8.00.

Just modify the online forms, really not liking that the supply, insurance, service forms are pre-filled out. If you don't look, you buy what you don't need....bad customer service.

Truck was not available until 2 hours after the reservation time. The computer at the location was working so poorly that the employee took my information on paper to allow me to leave with the truck and did not run the final receipt until 2 hours after dropping the truck off with them and leaving.

The unit had a very bad shake in the front end and it drifted all over the road i almost had two accidents because of it

Frist gas gage marking was wrong went in to get it checked, was marked 3/4 full was actually only alittle over 1/2. dropped it of in Wooster with alittle over 1/2 still charged me $19.88 for gas. put 6 gals. in when I dropped it off doesn't take 6 gals to go 60 miles

My rental experience went smoothly. Car shop owner was polite. I picked up truck and dropped it off after hours when done. Final receipt correctly reflected my usage. Wouldn't mind renting at this location again.

I had an appointment to pick up my truck at 11am. When I arrived I stood in an empty office for 5 minutes before a man in a garage bay asked me if I was there to rent a truck. When I told him I had an appointment, he told me the guy who handles that went to the bank and he couldn't help me because he didn't know how. I walked next door to Dunkin Donuts. 15 minutes later I returned he was back. After the paperwork was finished he handed me a key and told me the truck was outside to the right. I went out and there were 5 trucks out there. I had to match the numbers on the key with the numbers on the truck. When I returned later that day he was sitting with a tablet, another man took the key and went outside. The man behind the counter told me I didn't have to wait that my receipt would be emailed and went back to his tablet. The man outside was checking the mileage. I asked him how many miles he rattled it off and walked away. Terrible service, just terrible. Never again would I rent from them and never would I recommend them.

There was oil in the back of the cargo van that got on my boxes/mattress plastic. Also, he did not provide any help with controls on the cargo van and even asked for help with the adjusting the mirrors. When he came out, he tried to adjust the mirrors on the outside and said they didn't move. Then when I got the van home, my son told me how to adjust from the inside. The controls were not quite user friendly. Also, I couldn't see when backing up. I realized after I got to Columbus from Cleveland that there is a camera to watch in the rearview mirror after you put it in reverse. That was not explained either. No equipment to clean the van with. I also should have had a full tank to start with not a half a tank.

The trailer was dirty and in disrepair, the facility had no clue how to properly connect and chain the trailer to my vehicle, which required me to completely do over in order to be safe, and I discovered the next morning that the trailer running lights were inoperable. This facility has no place renting equipment with this apparent lack of knowledge!! I also rented a dozen furniture pads from this facility, which they did not put on my U-Haul rental agreement...they charged this separately directly through the business, not through U-Haul...which means the business kept this money and did not credit it to U-Haul. Very dishonest!!
