Service was great and check in and out was super easy however equipment (truck) did the job but had NO ac whatsoever. Not fun when your moving in 80+ degree weather.

The person checking us in told us the drop off location was set up and when we were at the drpo off location there we problems. The truck itself was good.

Pick up location was changed 2 days before the move. Adding 30 miles each way to our trip. And of course we have to pay for those miles. When you change the location at the last minute......YOU should cover the extra miles.

Whole pick up experience was awful. reserved a 20' truck, was contacted the day before saying they only had a 15'. Went to get the truck and it wasn't even there and was told I would have to wait until the next day. Ended up finding a 15' truck that day but was unable to fit everything in, I needed the 20' truck I had reserved. This resulted in me driving 8+ hours to get the rest of my stuff. Hopefully I don't have to move again soon but if so I will consider other options before U-Haul if this is any indication of how you conduct your business.

When I placed my reservation over the phone, I was informed that I would have a 26' truck. The day before pick-up, I was told the only trucks available were 15' unless I wanted to drive to another location an hour and a half away. Also, the price I was quoted over the phone was not even close to what I was charged. Extremely disappointment in Uhaul - if there was another option in the area, I would have used it. Never will use your service again - for what I ended up paying I could have hired movers to do it for me.

Was told no mileage fee paid an additional $55 on a one way rate. Would have been better off paying basic rental rate and mileage NOT BOTH!! Ridiculous!!

Overall, we had a poor experience with U-Haul. The company changed our location the day before our move which also changed the pick up time. This would have given us less time for the move. We had to do a lot of running around to get this to work for us. When we got to our location, the appliance dolly was not in the truck, but I had it reserved. This meant we were not able to move the appliances and are still working on getting that done. There appeared to be a lot of disorganization in general with the whole experience, starting with the company and down to where we picked it up.

I went to pick the truck up, the guy checked me in, handed me the keys, he didn't do a walk around the truck or check the gas that was in the truck. He said it was half a tank and it was under. Almost 1 quarter of gas was missing from the half. The guy asked me if I wanted to drop of the truck at another location, so I told him well if I can do that I would rather do that since I'm moving 30 to 40 miles away. He didnt say a word. He just wrote on a paper the address to the uhaul location where I was moving to. He never told me about extra charges for dropping off the truck at another location, that he himself offered me to drop it off somewhere else. So I leave with the truck and returned it the next day to another location (one way route) where i was offered to drop the truck off and was charged double for dropping it off at this location. I dropped off the truck at another location, the truck could not be checked in until 3 days later and I got a bill of almost $600 dollars. I am not happy at all. Employees need better training. Uhaul rep said all she could do is put in a dispute.

Fastest check through ever. Tina knows her stuff. While I couldn't give her an A+, because we forgot about the dolly and I had to return to get it, I will excuse the oversight because at the same time she was dealing with a FedEx service whose computer was not cooperating. At any rate, she handled all customers, there were three at the time I was there, with care and explained what could go wrong and possible glitches. I would definitely, rent from them again. In fact, I did three days later.

Fire the guy on Sunday that " checked us in ,i think his name was John!! accusing me from being from Montana". I'm from Wisconsin forever!! Of course he messed up the paperwork trying to charge us more for miles, that we never put on!!! And we proved that. We brought the u haul back, cleaned, completely full and even swept the back. Tina, on the other hand was very helpful in fixing his mistakes, she made sure we were charged appropriately and Tina truly cared to rectify and fix his rude mistakes!!

Chains were missing rubber straps to keep the chains on so the chain fell off. The drivers side light fell off going through Chicago. The light then fell off again going through Indiana. Finally fell off and got lost somewhere.

Truck was on E for gas. Returned it on E but you charged me for gas. Terrible.

Had to return a 20 foot uhaul that we had for the entire day I then had to rent a 10 foot for another charge to finish my job. The 20 foot truck did not have a muffler and the 10 foot did not have air on the hottest day this summer. I rented like 100 hauls in the last 2 years I will never rent another

The truck was at less than 3/4 of a tank of gas. The back was very dirty. I was told to put gas in the truck and clean it out. I took it to pick up a queen size mattress and drove it approximately 5 miles. Returned it in less than 2hours and did not clean it out, retuning as it was at the time of pickup.

The person at the location itself was very helpful, but I had tried to do the virtual check in before the location opened & it didn't work. I ended up being on the phone for 20 minutes with Uhaul customer service while they tried to figure it out. I ended up just waiting until the location opened & got the keys that way. Everything else went fine after that.

Please next time don’t lie to me and just tell me a truck isn’t avaialable and you overbooked. After the fact, we ended up getting the truck in time but when people are booking UHauls trucks to move this is a stressful time so calling them and telling them you can’t be there to pick up the truck after you confirmed all was good for early pick up was not professional. We did get the truck for 7am pick up after spending 2 hrs on the phone with several Uhaul businesses and customer service. We talked to a few other people that moved this same weekend and I guess UHaul in general is known for this so be careful when renting. And beware you could not have a truck. The 24 pick up online was great! After found out all locations have this and you should be able to get your truck or trailer anytime so don’t let them tell you they can not be there so you have to come in later.

The place was supposed to be open 10am-2pm and I dropped the truck off at 12:30pm and no one was there. I called the number on the door and didn't get an answer. I called the uhaul number and was told to leave the keys under the driver seat and park the truck in front which I did.

Needed to rent another truck and decided no matter how good your customer service is i went the another rental thats costumer service was the same just alot cheaper.
