When we need a UHaul, we always use this location. They have excellent customer service and it is easy to communicate with them. I think the lady who I have worked with name is Stephanie, I may be wrong, she is amazing. This is the best place to rent from.

I can't remember her name but she was amazing. She came through when Rick at Bath County Supply (my original pick up location) did not have the truck I order and did not make the slightest effort to get us the truck we ordered. He is a poor representative for U-Haul and human being and should not be part of U-Haul. One of the most hateful people I have ever met, especially to people of color.
The two ladies that I dealt with were absolutely amazing!!! I scheduled my uhaul online but for some reason it didn't register with their system but she made sure I got what I needed when I needed it!! I can't compliment these women enough!!! Thank you!!!

I dropped the truck off on the day it was due back, but I was still charged for an extra day. Not happy about that. instructions on how to secure a vehicle and equipment after hours could be better. Disappointed no-one answered when I had issues after hours. Should have emergency number that is answered to assist customers with immediate questions/issues.
We requested a dolly and furniture pads and neither were in the truck when we did our contactless pick up. This turned a 2 hour job into almost 4 hours as we had to get furniture pads and find someone to help us with moving the furniture. Very frustrating.
Didnt know i worked for u-haul, the amount of crap i had to do to drop off the truck you would think i did.
While the person who waited on us was not familiar with the U-Haul rental from this location( she was the person working on the storage facility) she phoned her supervisor and U-haul and received all the correct information about truck rentals. She was fantastic. We could not have received better customer service than we did from this person. I'm sorry we do not remember her name but she was outstanding.
Nothing great job in all areas
After a 4 day drive and move into a second floor apartment, U-haul failed to remind me about the drop off. I also rented a trailer and paid extra to load my vehicle but had no assistance to unload the trailer at my final destination. I picked up the truck a day before my trip and the trailer was attached the next day. When I reached VA we dropped the trailer first confirming the drop day "Wednesday" which I was charged an additional $44.00 for, So disappointed being taken advantage of in "these" days in particular.

Received the van with less than a quarter tank of fuel. I had to fuel up before I could even do anything. Poor Maintenance and checking of the vehicle
Enter my mileage wrong I have proof!! Uhaul has very poor customer service at the corporate level . Will not answer my emails .
Location and staff were amazing. However. I lost my keys during my move and the Uhaul help line was horrendous. They sent me 1.5 hours away to a random person's HOME to get a key made for the uhaul. Made me pay for it though I bought insurance to cover such headaches. Put me in a dangerous situation crossing counties with no cell service. Will not be recommending uhaul again. Will try the best of my ability to find an alternative on my future moves.
There was a technical error in the online order. The representative at the pickup location, Jordan, was very friendly and helpful. These issues were beyond her control, but she kept working at it until we were able to finish my booking - over 30 minutes. She should be recognized for her excellent customer service. I was waiting with my two son's and I know she felt bad about the system not working. She ended up giving me a discount, which was much appreciated since this was an urgent move to bring an elderly parent into our home and expenses were tight.
Really convenient location in Staunton. The cargo van I rented was super clean, full of fuel, and it took less than 10 minutes the complete all the standard paperwork when I picked the van up. Very friendly woman helped me with the initial transaction and when I turned the van in at the end of the day. Overall, an excellent experience.
We have been waiting on a refund for being overcharged another day when we had the truck back well before the 24 hours were done. Please do not use the Staunton, Virginia location for your moving needs. I am still trying to get our refund and it's been over three weeks. Corporate has stated that they gave us a â€œcash refund.â€ I have called the 1-800 number and have been left on hold for hours as the customer service staff continues to shove me off. Today I had to discuss my contract with three different reps. I would just blow off the refund but now IT'S THE PRINCIPAL of the matter that I will continue to call until I get what I was overcharged!!
Can't really think of anything. The whole process was smooth and pleasant from start to finish. We really appreciated the very accurate estimate of the cost.
This pickup process was fairly easy, although there were a lot of steps involved and it took longer than anticipated. The drop off of the vehicle was terrible. I was not provided the lock box key code during the drop off process for returning the key, nor was I told I would need to remember this code from the pickup process. The code was only provided during the web check in process. It is not emailed nor are you told you need to remember the code. I had to call in to Uhaul to get assistance for retrieving the code during pouring down rain. Not pleasant.
Excellent service here - great to be able to talk with a human in the office (unlike some Uhaul options around Staunton!). Van had under 2k miles and was in excellent shape.

I dropped the vehicle off after hours, and called the location the next day. They were friendly and helpful, and there was no prob;ems with the vehicle or extra rental items. The after hours drop off website did not work. It would not open the window to take a picture of the odometer/gas gauge -- only a black nonfunctional screen. I called customer service, explanined the problem and was passed to another customer service rep that never answered the phone. I was on hold for 25 minutes and gave up about 730PM. I did call the drop off location the next day to be sure everything with them and the vehicle was satisfactory.
Nothing, I had a great experience and Samantha was wonderful.
