I came into this location Friday morning to set a reservation to pick up a trailer in statesboro Saturday morning. This location set the appointment for Friday 5 minutes after I set it. So when I got to statesboro Saturday that office was closed. I had to jump threw tons of hoops to locate a trailer. I wasted hours using this location.

This is what I sent to 768001_AFM@uhaul.com, who asked for feedback as well. I sent it on 9/16 with no response as of 9/18. I reserved the furniture pads but I never received them. Also, when I picked up the unit, there was a terrible smell coming from it. I didn't realize it until I got home with the unit. I debated on returning it or asking for a refund, but I was closing on a house and had no choice. I have attached a picture of what we finally figured out. A dead armadillo stuck underneath the truck. Who knows how long it had been there. I would appreciate a refund on the pads and any consideration U-haul can offer for having to put up with that smell. It was awful! Please let the dealer (The Warehouse) know about the animal before it gets rented again. I returned it after hours. Please let me know what can be done about the charges. I was lucky that I called the location a few days before to make sure that they had a truck for us. We had to go up 2 sizes but they didn't charge us anything more. But it did take over half an hour to even get the truck pulled up...and we had filled out all the paperwork already on the web site. Other than the time, it was ok. However a poor couple there with us actually had ordered a van over a week before, but they were told they could only give them a 24 foot truck...way to big for them. They ended up getting money back and no way to move. My parents also had an issue in Macon a month ago. Had to wait 6 hours for a truck that was over 2 days late. Uhaul needs to fix something, people need their truck or van when they say they do...no latter, and in the size they need. Moving is stressful and Uhaul didn't make it any easier for anyone I saw or talked to at all 3 locations.

Nothing at this location. Truck available and proces was easy at this location and convenient to my son's location. The U-Haul Scheduling group at the 912-234-3059 service center is ridiculous. Took 3 days to get a "confirmed" truck available from 4 different places. Stupid, stupid, stupid process. Nothing but excuses and hollow "I'm sorry". Wanted me to drive 40 miles out of my way, and pay mileage charge, because nothing available where my son is located even tho truck was confirmed. Horrible dealing with U-Haul.....again.

The young men need additional training with the computer program. It should not take 35 minutes to check out the equipment. They were very polite and friendly. This is not the first time we have used them, and we will go back to them again should the new arise.

hold previous renters accountable to make sure vehicle is clean. I received a dirty truck with ashes and butt of cig. still inside. Just to make sure I did not get penalized I clean the entire truck as per the agreement. Overall the service was great!

Not enough people on staff to handle the number of customers coming into location. Also I paid for a utility dolly which was not included when I opened truck. Finally, the actual amount I paid was higher than the on-line quote I received

Review your policy on transferring equipment. There are three locations in Statesboro, I chose the one closest to my move. UHaul called and said i had to pick up at this location, ten miles from my move. That is a twenty mile round trip when they could have easily taken the trailer to my requested location. I made the reservation a week in advance. The personnel here were very helpful.

After carrying furniture across the state, I was happy to have a 24 hour drop off location so close by! Even though it was 10:00 at night, I just unhitched the trailer and left it with the others. The next morning I got an email that my check-in process was complete. Great experience!

Trailer was in very poor shape. Dents all over. Very old model. After hookinh it up the vack right tail light would not work. My husband checked the bulb but that wasn't the issue. It was old wore out wiring. The attendant agreed that the trailer was in very poor condition and stated it was the only one he had in the size ( 4x8 ). He never offered a bigger size in better condition.
