Nothing could have been done to improve upon my experience. Ed greeted me immediately and took the time to explain the importance of refueling the truck and folding the furniture pads prior to returning the truck. I am very happy he explained all of the features in the vehicles and how to watch my fuel consumption. He was very pleasant and informative. I felt very comfortable with him helping me with my one-way rental.

Overall pricing is outrageous for a truck rental. I shouldn't have to rent the truck then have to worry about mileage on top of that.... it should be a all inclusive price. I'll be going to Home Depot where it's a flat rate to rent a truck. 70$ for a few hours is absurd

This is the first uhale I have ever been to that they had me sit in the truck and adjust the mirrors where they need to be. I'm only 5 foot 3 and adjust the mirrors can be rough lol. I usually go to the uhale on mariner , the owner there is absolutely amazing. They didnt have the truck I needed so they made me a reservation for this uhale and I was very happy. I would absolutely tell anyone to come to either place as long as the person I dealt with were there. They both generally care about the people they are dealing with and they understand that 9 times out of 10 ur customer isnt there moving for happy reason and they ensure all their needs are met both moving and personally. I feel very safe and protected with my belongings and needs. I am going through a divorce and both places have assisted with this need and have gone above and beyond. The one on mariner was training while signing me in and she made sure to explain our needs and how important it was to ensure our privacy. A++++ for both places. Ill never leave uhale!!!!

Instead of charging the customer for both a daily fee and mileage, you should charge the customer only the greater of the two amounts (between daily fee and mileage fee)

When booking online and going to MY DASHBOARD....it would be nice to 'change' or 'extend' the current rental ourselves. If there is a conflict then we wouldn't be able to. Lots of times I called the local # to speak to the associate and never get them directly as it would be rerouted to the 800 hub. Being busy myself, I had no choice to have them help me and sure.....they would extend it but only for me to get a call the next morning from the actual location stating that there was a conflict and I had to rent elsewhere. For example: my own truck was in for a new motor...I own a landscaping business...I had to rent weekly for 3-4 weeks. Lots of bookings at different locations made my experience overall horrendous. Some days I had to return to 1 location just to have to pick up at another. This happened several times...very inconvenient to say the least. THIS particular location on Linden Dr. actually bent over backwards for me by allowing me to just continue renting and moved the reservation that came in. Ed was extremely understanding and took the time to ensure this type of situation didn't happen again. Because of him, I was able to rent this pick up for consecutive days and not have to run around dropping off and picking up at other locations. All it took was a simple call from him every morning to my cell phone to confirm return or extension. And that's how it's SUPPOSED to work. Unfortunately (and fortunately) he was the last rental I needed. Wish I used him 1st but his location was farther out than the Mariner and the New York Ave locations. Which by the way...the man scheduled early morning (Sean) at NY Ave NEEDS help there. He was alone, busy and an issue with a truck being okay for a customer and wait times were not good. After a 20 minute wait, he graciously allowed us to just return and leave and gave me a call with all Final Totals rather than wait. Corporate....maybe looking at reservations for the day and scheduling appropriately would have helped this poor man. Besides the fact that rentals obviously weren't checked for the next day as he was helping a man rent a box truck with trailer that wouldn't start. All preventative incidents. The 24/7 feature is awesome. Does need some tweeking from corporate though. Cant change your current rental. Also...the 'major' credit card vs 'bank debit card' issue is just nonsense. I found out I could only use the 1st one and not the 2nd one which is what I had...I was initially told I could not rent from them with my 'bank' card. Um...why? I get the fact that there is no credit limit like a 'major' card....but hello?!....you have ALL my information including my DL #...you could just sue me if anything happened...or better yet....since I took the insurance, do nothing and just take care of it. Such a dumb rule however the 24/7 feature DID ALLOW me to use it and that's the way to go. But what a way to do business. If I was amongst the elderly I wouldn't have access to the 24/7 feature as most e

Biggest drawback is the size of the area for the truck and trailer parking. Upon return, no place to park. Other customers had returned their equipment and parked all over the place, leaving me to park in a back alley.

This is the 2nd time we do business with this location and would not go anywhere else. Manager, who's been with the store for 8 years is outstanding. Very professional and informative. Neighbor used UHaul near Mariner and had unpleasant experience, advised them of Linden location for future use!!
