Very difficult to find, ended up leaving keys with gentleman at Merkel Norman. Process for dropping of truck was ridiculous, for what was asked of us all the photographs etc we should get a discount for doing your staff's check-in process. Will only drop off at bona fide UNaul stores in the future should I ever move again.Jeremy L.
This location was closed on saturday when I was done with the uhaul and had difficulty getting the online return completed. I tried again on sunday and still was unsuccessful and called customer service. The rep advised to return the truck and that she would note the account so after 45 mins of utilizing uhauls 'amazing' self service online tools and a call to customer service I returned the truck by 1030 am on sunday which apparently was 2 hours after the designated drop off time. 1- this location has crap hours and makes it extremely difficult to return rented items. 2- your customer service is absolutely horrible and I will NEVER recommend uhaul to anyone, ever.kendra D.
we had to pick up the car dolly and the truck in two different locations. which is fine, but it wasnt made real clear to us and resulted in wasting time because went to the wrong place first. but everyone was nice and helpful.Travis G.

We were supposed to pick up the haul truck at 923 W 11th St. Upon arriving there we are told our truck was given to a UPS driver and they had no idea when he would return it. The woman called around to see who also had a 10 ft truck available. They sent us to Purses to Go. Problem..they were closed on Monday. Called your main # to see what to do. We paid on line then they gave us the code for the truck lock. It was the wrong code. After trying 3 additional code we finally got one that worked. This made us really double think ever renting from Uhaul again. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN TERRIBLE.Barbara wayne M.
Customer Service was great. The location is not the most convenient. Very small U-Haul sign on the building. Drove by it the first time. My GPS kept saying I was at my destination. The drop off site is way back of the building.MARK E.
It would have helped knowing it was "Purses to Go." An address with Ste number was frustrating. Gas tank was only half full at pick up time. We had to add $46. worth of gas to make the trip.connie C.

While this site did a fine job, I was not impressed with our overall uhaul experience. We did not get the uhaul at the time selected or the location we selected. We really had to rush to get everything done in a shorter amount of time. Very frustrating.Casey F.
Also, when calling U-haul to make a payment since the online site was not able to locate my info. I had to call 3 times to actually pay since they also could not bring up my info "for 2 days"...not great service overall.anita W.

The store was too cluttered and we had to find a path to the counter in the back of the store through a maze of purses and other items. The Uhaul was in a different lot behind the store front and we had to wade through snow to get to it. Also the truck was not warmed up or ice scraped from the windows etc. We feel she is trying to do too many things by herself in a very small retail store and Uhaul is just a side item.Rick H.
When we were at the West 11th Street location in Sioux Falls three times to get set up with U-Haul, not one time did they tell us that we might have to go to a different location to get the truck/transporter. So when we arrived to pick up the equipment on West 11th, we were told to go to Purses Plus...which we were told didn't open until 11am on Sat. We had people arriving at 9:00am to help load us up....so we were not happy with the overall U-haul experience. Then when we arrived at Purses Plus, she had opened up at 10 am and stated she had tried to call...but we did not get a phone call that morning. So - 2 things that need to be done .... UHaul employees need to explain that you might have to pick up a truck etc at a different location and at the Purses 49th location, they need to open up sooner on a Saturday morning like 7 am so that people can get loaded up earlier....this whole situation set up back by a 1/2 day.deb Z.
