Couldn't tell if this was a place of business. Place looked so disorganized and messy. Truck did not run well, ate the gas!!! No one was there to receive the truck even though it was the middle of day!! I would've liked to tell someone in person my concerns about the truck Truck was not suited for long travel. This was the worst rental I've ever had. Usually don't do surveys but felt compelled to do so this time.Donald W.

The truck was nasty when we picked it up and the merchant was in such a hurry to leave it was obvious he just wanted to do the mimimum and be done with us. He didn't even pull the truck around. He just gave us the key and told us it was at the bottom of the lot. This is our 4th rental in a year but our first and last with this merchant. We will go back to the merchant in Asheboro even though it is farther awayDwight M.
Not make us drive far to pick up a rental after we make a reservation but the business decide to go out of town. And leave me stranded with no truck. But B&L were kind enough to help me last minute and rent me a truck even though I had to pay extra.Melissa C.

When we went to location to drop off no staff was there to check in our equipment. No one knew where the staff was. We didn't know what to do with the rental and called the location we picked up at for advice and the lady said each location is different but she gave us suggestions to do. I continued to call the number multiple times yesterday and the number was forwarded to a different number so I never left a message but I continued to call to see if our rental had been checked in b/c I haven't received an email confirmation that it's been checked in. I have been worried all night wondering if we are going to be charged another day. With business like this I would not use this service again. No one wants to be left in limbo. Next time someone should always be in office during business hrs to be able to rent or return back to location.ROBERT AND JESSI F.
ordered a 26' & rec. a 20'. We go 5 miles to gal. We were supposed to rec some free miles for incovience and didn't. We we p/u truck gas guage was at approc 1/4 and we were told to bring back at 1/2 which we did. Why wasn't it at full when we p/u? We will go to Penske next time.Kristen S.
His website says closes at 1:00 on Saturday, but, when I talked with him, he said, gate open til 5:00. I rushed to get there sat to return before 1:00, and he was not there. He did answer the phone and gave me directions. I could not get the trailer hitch off, and had to call him, and he said, he would be there in 10 minutes, which he did come by... His place was muddy, but guess he cant help that... I left message for him to call me, and he never did...needless to say, I was a little stressed about where to take it, etc, when he did not return my call.MONA P.
I am very disappointed in the service I received at this location. I would not recommend it to anyone for many reasons. 1. The size truck I needed was not available so I had to pay extra for a truck size I did not need. The operator never offered the truck at a discount. 2. When I arrived on time,I stood outside in the freezing cold for 5 mins before anyone came to the door. I had to call for someone to come and open the door. 3. When I was able to get inside to get the keys, I was told I did not have a reservation although I made reservations days in advance with the same guy over the phone. 4. U-Haul prices are too high. Weekend gas rates are different from weekday gas rates which I think is ridiculous. 5. Customer service was horrible and the owner's communication skills needs some improvement. 6. If I had to recommend a rental truck service it would be Penske.SHAVON R.
I called for four hours (10AM til 2PM Wednesday 2/4), came to the location twice, only ever got voice mail saying "Leave a message". I left several messages, no response. I called UHaul HQ, they said just drop the dolly there in a safe place. Never got a receipt. Not very professional. How To Improve? Answer the phone!Charles B.
