Shingle Springs location was very helpful after a terrible experience at Camino location. I tried to return truck/trailer to Camino location first and they were not helpful at all. They denied me of any drop off, even after I spoke with them on the phone.

Operationally, the Uhaul experience was top notch. The equipment performed flawlessly. The people at Halk rentals were great. They even had the truck running for me so it was comfortable inside. There are, however, a few opportunities for improvement with respect to pre-rental communication from U-haul corporate (not Halk rentals): 1. We made a reservation requesting the closest pick up location. Just before the rental date, our equipment was confirmed at a different location. At that time, I was informed that the nearby location closed "several months ago". Why would the website still list a closed location as a pick-up option??? 2. After making the reservation, we received a discount offer by email if we returned the car to a different drop off location near our destination. We agreed, but, when we picked up the truck, the drop off options presented did not include the destination city you suggested, creating confusion. I guess your needs changed?? Anyway, thanks for the discount. 3. We selected the most convenient drop off location from the options presented, but after arriving at the destination, we discovered that there were other, more convenient U-haul locations which were not offered as drop off options. Why???

Get pick ups! I was very fortunate by the company I rented from. They gave me a box van at pick up price. These folks were excellent. I would highly recommend this family run business. Very good reps for your company.

We returned it after closing so we had to park it along a fence. Busy road, not much space several others were already there. They should have people leave them at park and ride or dirt spot at top of the road.

With poor weather conditions the pick up location moved often enough to name the truck Waldo. We were under constant change of pick up location primarily due to extreme weather. Not u-hauls fault. All personnel were friendly and helpful.

Additionally to your various uhaul representatives stating the additional charge to keep this uhaul was $40 per day, your contract states: Extra Day Rate for the TT (?) $40 per Day. That is exactly what I was told by all your uhaul reps. Now knowing this truck was sitting in front of my house, why would any uhaul representative not even alude or ask me about Safemove Plus??? This issue was NOT EVER quoted by your uhaul representatives on the separate occasions I called to let them know I was still not able to unload this truck. In fact, I remember getting a call from uhaul asking about the truck. This made no sense because I called every morning I knew I couldn't unload my mother's things. I would say this was the worst customer service I have ever received but I can't say I even received ANY customer service. Now the uhaul reps at Shingle Springs incompetence made me lose my entire day. The person who told me she was going to charge me $800+ and put me on hold already having charged me without my knowledge or consent $667.54 and refused to tell me how this amount was even calculated HAS NO BUSINESS dealing with any other people. Five extra days at $40 per day=$200, that is the amount I was quoted repeatedly. Even adding the contested $28 per day the total would be $68x five days would be less than $350. No explanation of the $435, $800+ nor the $667.54 would be explained. I believe this violates several consumer protection laws and poses additional contract law issues. You seem to think you are above the law. Especially since I was not the person in possession of your web best receipt nor your the accompanying uhaul paper folder. When I called three times to let them know I was keeping the UHaul because my first unloaders cancelled when they were supposed to be there (Monday Morning, Elite Moving Labor #110738) and said they couldn't do it until Thursday!, your representative told me it was Forty Dollars per day to have the Uhaul sitting in front of my house because I had no one to unload it at the storage unit. Tuesday I called Simple Moving Labor, 866-767-5348, and they said they could do it that day between 4:30 and 5:00 but I had to drive the uhaul 20 ft truck which I cannot do, I was not the one who picked up the uhaul or supplies (the large closet boxes were not included as I personally asked your representative for but am sure will show on my bill) and I would have to wait up to an hour for them to show up. I again called your Roseville location to let them know I had to keep it yet another day and was AGAIN informed it would cost me $40 per day to keep the truck. I was also promised I would be able to drop off the uhaul in El Dorado Hills, where it was unloaded when it was picked up in Roseville but they couldn't give me a location but told me to call a (916) number when I was ready to return the uhaul. This made no sense to me, why they couldn't give me the physical location but they would not
