When I went to pick up the truck I was one of a few customers who didn't realize we had checked the "self pickup" or "24/7" option (or whatever it's called) for the truck--meaning we were supposed to check it out with our smartphone, multiple forms of IDs, take pictures, etc. rather than just going through the person at the desk. This was problematic for 2 reasons: 1-I did not realize I had even selected that option (and neither did the other guy in line). It should be made more clear exactly what you're choosing. I thought I was simply moving forward with the normal rental process. 2-you should make the requirements for the "24/7 self checkout" option more clear. Even if I meant to select the "24/7 pickup" option, I wouldn't have known I'd need multiple forms of ID, have to take bunch of pictures of the truck, etc before renting it. I get the idea to save paper but it seems a bit inconvenient, it's something I would only choose if I had no other option but to pick up the truck late at night or something like that. In short: It's too easy to inadvertently select the "24/7 pickup" option, and on top of that the option itself isn't very well explained.

I had to rent this car hauler for three days at a cost of $316 even though I only needed it for 24 hours. Please consider giving me a credit for the unused days and changing your policy to only charge for the days used.

lacking in supplies, did not have requested amount of pads, and would have liked another dolly but they didn't have it, otherwise great customer svc and I don't think the lack of supplies was their falt. Uhaul should be more attentive to their locations

This is the second time I have been routed to this location. Never again!!! If this is the only location you have I will try another company. After waiting 20 minutes for some guy who was asked 5 times to come out to assist I was told they have the van and the two dollys i need. I get home and they aren’t in the truck. So now I have to go 5 miles back to the place only to be sold sorry I don’t have any dollys. Why would you charge me for two of them. I had to wait 15 minutes to get my refund. This is 6:00 on a Friday so every other location nearby is closed. Luckily I found a spot that opened at 7:30 in the morning and they rented me two. Then after it’s all over they charge me .99 cents a mile when the contract clearly says .89. This place is the worst. And the truck had dead mosquitos smashed on the inside windshield. Hair on the seats it clearly had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a while. But they tell me to be sure to clean out any dust in the back. Last time I’m saying this but they are the worst!!!!!

Both locations were very helpful however my overall experience was a nightmare. The 800 number for reservations and customer service never answered the 10 times I attempted to call. They put my return time down as 9 am when my rental pickup was at 10 am and charged me an additional day despite my returning the truck before 10. I also called and spoke to someone on Monday but the notes were never made in the computer about me needing extra days due to weather and work. Overall this rental was entirely more headache then it was worth and while the locations were amazing the company is making them look bad.

Truck was dirty and needed an oil change. Dash said 0% oil life and would not budge from that screen. When I went to drop off the truck, the man told me that I owed money because there wasn't enough gas in the truck. When I challenged him and said that I actually put more gas in there then I was responsible for, he says no you don't know what you're talking about I will show you. I then said yes show me and we went out to the truck and he stares at the gas gauge for a couple of minutes and I asked him if he knew how to read the gas gauge because he obviously was having trouble. He then starts yelling at me and belittling me I will never go back.
