Find closer to residence. Had to go 40 miles when there was one 10 miles away. A tore blew apart at 200 miles but had very good service.
Reservation was moved 3 times because the promised 15 foot truck size was not available. While the agent at ultimate pick-up site was friendly this location was filthy. My contract copy was a phone picture of his computer screen. Truck parked poorly requiring considerable jockying back and forth to avoid hitting other trailers and not backing blindly out on to a 65 mile per hour highway. Anyone not familiar with the use of truck mirrors could have had a real problem.

Truck was dirty he didn't seem to care, he couldn't print paper work, couldn't find key.
I thought you could return a U Haul to any location, but this guy told me to bring it back to him. I had to go out of town to get it, because no one here had an open trailer. I was a little disappointed with this rental site. He could not get his computer to accept my card, so I had to go down the road and cash a check at Walmart.
The local guy was well prepared and courteous. It seemed the corporate side was extremely misguided. I did a reservation online and was also called for confirmation but still my information was corrupt when the local guy tried to run it. Took nearly an hour to get it straight
Fill the tank up all the way. That way when customers return the truck to you, we aren't guessing at how much gas we need to put in to keep it at the spot it was in when we rented it. We can just fill the tank all the way up. It feels like a scam. In order not to get fined, customers may over fill. Not fair! Fix that.
I went online and rented a 15ft moving truck on 4/15/18, I received an email confirmation that I would pick my truck up at one of Uhauls preferred locations, Ferrell's Home and Outdoor in Corinth, Ms on 4/21/18 at 11:00Am, I even called Ferrell's on 4/20/18 to make sure my rental would be available and the gentleman assured me everything would be ready when I got there. I drove over 4hrs from the Madison, Ms area to move my dad and stepmom from Iuka,Ms. Needless to say, when I arrived to the â€œpreferred locationâ€ on 4/21/18 at 11:12 AM, the gentleman asked me to have a seat for a minute, and he began to make phone calls, then told me my truck wasn't there because he let a coworker take it on 4/20/18 and the coworker took the wrong truck, there was only one other rental truck in the parking lot and I couldn't have it because it was a local truck, and then the lady on the phone from U-Haul said there was an available truck at a location in Selmer, Tn, did I want to get it, well what other choice did I have?? Have no truck to move my parents or drive a round trip total of an extra hour, needless to say I was pissed, infuriated that they would allow a coworker to take a customers rental truck that they had gauranteed would be there. As we were driving to Selmer to pick up another rental I called U-Haul to file a complaint and the gentleman on the other end said that someone from U-Haul would be contacting me, today is 4/25/18 and I haven't received a call yet. Point being.... these pickup and drop off locations represent U-Haul and to admit to letting a coworker take a truck that was already rented and confirmed was really unprofessional, and if anyone ever asks me my opinion of the company, they will get it!!!

Well the pick up was supposed to be in Crump Tennessee. This location was not as close. I was not aware of the rental tax when I rented the truck. I thought the 730.00 was the total price. There was only a 1/2 of a tank of gas. Why not start on full?
The fellow I met there was very nice, but he didn't have the equipment I needed. This was after I had specifically been told by UHaul CS to pick up a truck at that location (15 miles out of my way), and that my truck, furniture pads, and dollies would be there. They weren't, and the guy could not figure out the check in system on the computer. The location was easy to find, but it was awkward to get in and out, even for experienced professional CMV drivers.
Restrict usage to non-smoking customers. Unit was full of cigarette smoke. Not a problem for me.
No one was there,, located on a very busy highway and no room to back in with trailer without the tow vehicle stuck out in the lane of traffic.
I would not use them.
We signed a contract to pick up the truck, and all the equipment at the location in Adamsville, TN. I received a call from some corporate lackey telling me that we would have to drive to Selmer, TN, an additional 15 miles, instead, because it was just too much to ask that the guy who drove to Corinth, MS to pick up the truck (the only one within 50 miles, or so I was told) and take it to the place that had been agreed upon. All the items we needed would be at that location, in Selmer. Horse manure! When my son in law arrived to pick up the truck at around 8:30, the truck was not ready, the guy he spoke to had no idea what he was talking about. He asked to speak to the boss, and when they finally got that settled, he was informed that he would have to go back to Adamsville to pick up the packing blankets, etc., because he didn't have any of them, CONTRARY to what I had been told. When he arrived at that location, he found the truck and the equipment we had ordered was waiting for pick up....IN ADAMSVILLE! Needless to say, the people at the site were quite confused as to why we had been sent on a wild goose chase by said corporate lackey. I would suggest a demotion for the woman who called, and got everything so screwed up, putting us way behind schedule! Under normal circumstances, I have been pleased with the service at U-Haul. This time....not so much!
I plan on filing a complaint and claim to your corporate office. The A/C did not work in the truck and I have a medical condition that requires me to stay in a cool environment. Due to this, the trip was MISERABLE. I want to know how to lodge a complaint and get a partial refund!
This is a busy time for moving things, so I had to drive out of the way to pick up a trailer here. When I got there, the sign on the door said they'd be back in 30 minutes, with a phone number. Place was dirty and looked like the sign had been there a while. I called and was told they might be back in an hour, they were out on a service call. I said skip it, I'd go somewhere else. How do you not have people present for Uhaul? I don't love Uhaul anyway, but the fact that this place is associated with them is not good for their name.
The facility was very dirty and cluttered. It reminded me of an old body shop. The associate didn't go over any of the material other than just printing out my agreement and having me look over it. I had to walk outside and specifically ask which Uhual I would be using and he didn't offer to show me anything about the vehicle itself so I took it upon myself to see how everything operated. As I was opening the back gate he said, "Let's make sure they ain't no dead Mexicans back here." Luckily I don't get offended easily but he didn't know I was half Mexican and a simple racial comment like that could easily put a permanent negative image on Uhual. He wasn't mean, just not very helpful.
I arrived to the location you told me to take the truck to instead of where I had said I would on the contract & I was charged for a 20 mile overage. As a trucker I knew to take the truck route, and looked it up on line before my trip. I went nowhere out of the way. Nobody was at the return location. I parked the truck & left keys in a lock box as instructed by the owner on the phone. Thankfully, I had a cell phone.
The battery was dead on the truck and needed to be jumped several times at considerable inconvenience to me and my helpers who were being paid by the hour. I strongly believe the charge should be reversed. This location should be shut down. It is a wreck in many ways.
This is the second time I have used this location as a drop off location. Both times I have dropped off the equipment after hours, and each time they have checked my equipment in and sent me an email receipt.
