I booked this truck to be picked up at the West Seattle location. In fact, I called that location, and double-checked that it was in fact the location on 35th AVE SW. Going there, we were told that the truck was reserved at the 1st Ave So location "in Burien". It was not in Burien, but in SODO. After a lot of running around, we FINALLY picked up our truck in SODO. Our whole day was delayed 2 hours. This is not good customer service. The team in SODO was the most competent of the three possible locations.



Great staff, from Eric to Klemet . No complicated bullshit, easy in easy put. They always have a positive effect on the business and customers. This is a definite REPEAT satisfaction.

Answer the phone! I tried calling three times. If someone would have answered, it would have saved me time and money. Instead, I had to drive to and from the location and was charged for the extra trip (an additional 10.5 miles!). Completely unfair.

Pretty dissapointed about the pricing. It is advertised as the end to go about 8 miles i ended up paying over 50 dollars. I also was upset that we had to return it to the same location. When I have rented trucks before I have been able to take them back to other spots, and this seems like a ploy to force you to double the already expensive mileage.

My "check in" took all of 5 seconds. No walk around. No turning on blinkers. While I was happy for an easy return, the stress of wondering all day about being charged for something I didn't do was more than I'd care for. Staff needs a reminder about the details.

Just recently Uhaul management has stopped allowing this location to rent any of their vehicles other than the pickup and cargo van. While there trying to rent a larger box truck, the gentleman helping me explained that these vehicles were not rented or on hold for anyone else. He went on to explain that a recent policy has stopped the work force from renting the larger units. Please help me understand how this makes sense?! This location is perfect and the staff I interacted with were fast and fantastic; its just maddening to see trucks there that can't be used and no one seems to understand why!

The 1st Truck's Ignition was NOT working ??? When I returned I was TOLD to clean out the back or pay a $20 "Clean UP Fee" ! I waited for my reciep...& Waited... & Waited ??? I was told the cash register wasn't working after a 20 min. delay. ???? I was Told ( due to MY inconvenience) I would receive a REFUND or about $12-$13 for the millage I did NOT Use ( AFTER I asked) !

The rental was for 930am. Turns out the place wasn't open until 10am. Of course that didn't matter because the front desk lady didn't show up until almost 11am blaming "traffic." I would never use this u-haul location again after this insanely bad experience. It is unacceptable to wait an hour and a half (with 5+ other people) for my rental *especially* without receiving an apology or discount of some kind. Even when she got in the computer was broken and the printer was out of ink. I will never use this location again and also don't want to use u-haul. In the future I will use Penske and other higher quality competitors.
