This location has the slowest customer service compared to other locations. I usually go to the Ballard location, but they didn't have vehicle availability. We dreaded having to visit the Interbay location to rent the van because we've been there to rent a truck and a couple times for propane. I even download and setup the Uhaul app as the site states it will save a lot of time when picking up your vehicle. Well, we stood in line for 20 minutes, all of which ate into the four-hour rental period. Also, while standing there waiting, and we were standing behind another person who was waiting, a guy behind the counter specifically looked my husband and me and told us to wait in the line. Which we did, we thought, and there was no sign indicating where to wait. And wait. And wait.

Location was good, equipment as described. However upon entering, I was met with "What do you want?" in a somewhat brusque manner. Had trouble with app reservation I had made and the same attendant appeared annoyed to have to manually retrieve reservation. Not the end of the world, but definitely a little off putting.

Your employees all seem to genuinely try to do a good job. At Interbay and online, they help us. You software system, however, is terrible. It is apparently confusing and time-consuming to use, it creates misleading reports to customers online, and input cUses long lines and frustration for both customers and you employed in store. Fix it, please.

It was very busy, long line (6) people in front of me. I did the Express Check-In but still had to wait in line - not so express and it might have save me a minute or two when I got to the counter; maybe having a separate Express In position would help !!

They made us wait for forty minutes until we finally got a van that we had reserved online. They didn't even have to ask us for any personal information just kept clicking away at who knows what without saying a word. No communication, very rude. I have sworn off uhaul before but this really was the last straw. I will seek alternative options for large vehicle rentals in the future.

The cargo van was clean and well-maintained. No issues with it or how it handled on the highway. The only "downer" was that the 12 blankets we rented were all damp. Luckily we were moving sound equipment in sturdy plastic boxes and not wood furniture.

1)The padlock on the truck was broken and would not work. 2)The truck would also shift into a lower gear when going downhill. Causing it to rev really high, and would not correct itself if gas was applied and then it would get stuck in that gear. Unless you shifted into neutral and then back to drive. 3) after 2 minutes of driving the heat would come on full blast on your legs even with the vent off and no fan on. The heat was even on even if you turn the air conditioning on. This was a terrible truck... definitely not worth $67, plus $15 in gas, $83 total to travel 10 miles... very disappointed...

The initial email I received was deliberately misleading. It reads "You are scheduled to pickup your equipment at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Interbay on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:15 PM for 4 hours." After receiving this, I contacted the store directly and received verbal confirmation that the van would be available at 1:15. Writing an email saying "you are scheduled" tells me I can count on the van being available at that time. Nowhere in that email does say the word "preferred." Nowhere in the email does it offer a range of times, or suggest the van may be available later than expected, or perhaps that due to high volume the van I have selected may take up to an hour more to become available. Instead, on the day of my move, I received a notification 4 hours beforehand that my van would be available at 2:00 instead of 1:15. Whomever was responsible for this scheduling communication needs to change their language to reflect that the time is a "preference" or that the van may be delayed slightly. In fact, I wouldn't even be mad if someone had mentioned at any point of the process that the van could be late.

Wow to all of the crud on the windshield, but that's ok it was still viewable. I was not happy with the overall experience this time. The people were accommodating, but didn't really care that a lot of things got messed up. My original pickup point was not this location, but when I had to change times for pickup (not because of my schedule, but because the movers were not available at the time I selected through the U-Haul site) it automatically shifted my truck rental location. Also, I was told there was just over 1/2 tank of gas and when I got in it it was just under. So even though I put extra gas in the level was still not over 1/2 tank- I will be upset when I get charged for that. The movers were slow, but overall it was fine- barely. Hopefully I will not be moving in the near future because this experience was not a great one.

They were extremely busy, and just had us drop off our keys and told us we were good to go. We turned the truck/keys in one day before they were due but they didnt update online that they checked it in. Made us worried so we had to make multiple phone calls to insure it was ok, they made our check in date and time different than it was, luckily we werent charged any overage fees
