Customer service was lacking and/or nonexistent

Customer service was horrible. I rent from Uhaul quite often and the female service representative who checked me in refused to go outside to check my truck in so that I could take a paper copy with me. She even told her coworker to not go outside and help people. I returned an item and asked me to put it in the storage area in back. Above all, she had the audacity to start cursing around me and my friend. Very bad experience.

Miss Jazmin was incredible helpful, very friendly with great personality! I really believe that she should be paid as twice much for her wonderful service ?! Thank you. Mark also was awesome on the phone Great call! Excellent attention to detail explaining the refunds options and making sure I didn't have any other questions. I will definitely go back to this location because ALL (other associates at the counter) of YOU! Thank's again.

I arrived to the uhaul location about 15 minutes before it opened. The employee who was opening the store immediately helped me and I was on my way well before the store was even scheduled to open. The employee was very helpful and friendly. This was on Thursday, 12/6/2018. Please look up who was opening that day and pass along my appreciation.

Keep up the good work, no improvement needed so far.

My experience was absolutely terrible. The Seattle Interbay location has incompetent personnel, dirty and smelly vans as if somebody is transporting pigs in them. When I returned the van I brought it back with more fuel than I received it with and I was 'by mistake' charged for fuel. Then when I disputed it they issued me 2 receipts, one of a refund. 2 days later I see in my pending transactions that instead of refunding me that amount they are charging me the same amount on top of the correct amount again. I am still dealing with adjusting the monies.

UHaul created an experience that was riddled with unanswered questions and a lack of communication when presented with the questions. It seemed almost pointless to make a reservation in the first place as nothing in the reservation was guaranteed. customer service representatives were rude and non-communicative leaving us feeling like we were doing something wrong by keeping a schedule and requesting what we were paying for. The truck itself was fine and all seemed well when it came time to swipe my card but leading up to that point it was huge pain for us. Renting people trucks is what UHaul does and it appeared to be a real inconvenience for UHaul.

Absolutely astounded by this place. We arrived shortly after 3:00 pm to rent a 5' x 8' trailer. I did not have a reservation because I was renting to move a couch, which I was looking at before committing to the Uhaul. We were not out of the lot until 4:45 pm. It took longer to pay for and attach a Uhaul trailer than it did to drive a mile away to pick up the couch, spend time loading up the couch, driving up to North Seattle, and then back to return to the trailer. Speaking of driving to North Seattle and back, I mentioned that this was my first time renting from Uhaul and that I wanted to pick up in Queen Anne and drop off in Shoreline. Employees reacted strangely when I said that, but did not think to mention the significant price difference for doing so, and so I was shocked when the total came out to $160 instead of the $45 I was expecting. I felt profiled by the employee after telling her the make of my car, and I think she then thought that I was a "rich boy" and she didn't need to inform me of the price difference. We then had to cancel the transaction (which somehow took 15 minutes to get to that point) and restart, now knowing what easily could have been mentioned earlier. When I said I wanted to go one-way, they could have mentioned that its $40 more on the flat fee, plus an extra $60 deposit to put down. Finally, the inside of the trailer was extremely dirty - we didn't realize the extent of it until we had started loading things into it. It's very discouraging paying money for a rental, lots of money for a new couch, and taking the time to deliver it to my house just to have it get dirtied by the trailer. Honestly, if it wasn't for the two guys that were working outside that were really friendly and helpful I would be giving this spot 1 star. There's just no reason that price quotes should be hidden until the end, and there's no reason that picking up one trailer should take an hour and a half

Even though I did express check on line it took 30 minutes to do the paperwork and get the trailer hooked up. Even people who arrived after me left before I did. I arrived at 7:05am and didn't leave until 7:44. The person who checked me in arrived after me, seemed like he didn't know what he was doing and didn't help to hook up the trailer, I had to go out and find someone else to hook up the trailer and that person didn't check the brake lights and turn signals.

The employees were kind and quick to admit fault, but my reservation was not available when I went to pick it up yesterday. I let it go and rescheduled for today. When returning the truck, i got stuck with a small dent under the door handle that I had missed during my initial inspection.

More personnel on location would help speed up rentals and returns but the staff on hand does the best they can.

I rented a carpet shampooer: Rug Doctor. Whoever used it before me did not clean it out. It was full of cat hair and dirty water. When I looked at the bottom of it was completely clogged and covered in cat hair. Even the attachment hose was completely full of cat hair. I think it actually made my carpets dirtier. Very unsatisfied

location is incredibly small and difficult to navigate in a large truck.

Paid for a dolly I didn't receive. Truck parking descriptions could use some work. App is a bit more involved than it needs to be.

Usually I am satisfied with my rentals from uhaul, but this time was extraordinarily BAD. I even brought the van back early so that you might have the chance to rerent it during the time I had been allowed. So.... picking up was OK... a little bit of a wait but I understand things can be busy. The contract read the there was 5/8ths of a tank of gas when there was exactly 1/2 of a tank, so I went back and the employee came out and checked the actual reading and marked my little slip of paper at 1/2 and initialed the paper as well. Off I went. I did not need to bring the van back until the next day but I thought that you might get another rental out of the time I had been allowed so I took the van back, pulled it into the drive and went in to the counter to check in the vehicle. There were five people in front of me and had formed a bit of a line. After waiting an hour and having two people still in front of me... I asked if I should be waiting in this line? The clerk stated I could go outside and talk to the worker outside. So I did... I asked "Jason" if he could check me in. He said he could not. I could leave the keys on the seat and someone would get to it. I asked about my receipt? He said that the receipt would be emailed to me. Leave the keys on the seat. Well... my thinking is.... I am responsible for this van... I cannot just leave the keys on the seat of the van next to a busy street in an area that has plenty of homeless people about so I went back in and regained my place in line and waited till my turn came. When it was my turn for service, now having waited for an hour and twenty minutes. (Check your tapes several customers left without service) I approached the counter and handed the girl my papers and asked to be checked in. She refused me!!!!!! She told me to stand aside and wait while she worked the other customers in the line.... now seven behind me? She told me to just leave the keys on the seat of the van and they would email me my receipt. She told me to just wait where I was and that was it. I looked at my contract for a phone number to call and voice a concern and a complaint. I called the number... she picked up the phone and asked if I could be placed on hold? I said yes..... she looked over at me and asked if it was me that had just called.... I said yes. I then started looking for corporate phone numbers. Found the managers number on the outside of the door. So I called him and told him I preferred not to be irresponsible and set myself up for the cost of a possibly stolen vehicle. His answer was that there were cameras and I would not be responsible if the van was stolen. I then again stated that I did not just want to leave the keys lying around and went inside where both employees were at this time. While on the phone with the manager I handed the key to Jason and informed the manager that he had accepted the key. I then left the facility. On getting the bill.... there was a gas charge?????? What is that? I

When I arrived at the location, the attendant told me to leave the keys in the car, that she would handle the check-in, and that I didn't have to wait. Later, I received an email saying I owed $9 for additional mileage. This is super annoying because the amount could have been paid when I dropped off the truck. Instead, now I have to mail a check to UHaul. Very inconvenient.

I wasn’t emailed my final bill & then I was charged $20 something more & I left an extra quarter tank in van. Whatever no big deal.
