I was told I could leave my car inside of the gated area next to the business, and that the gate would be open when I came to drop the Uhaul off before 0700 the next day. When I came to drop the Uhaul off later that night, the gate was locked and I could not get to my car. There was no after hours number to call to get help, so I had to come back the next day to retrieve my car. The employee who helped me getting the Uhaul was very nice, but it was a pain to have to find a ride home and then come back again the next day when I was told I would be able to get my car when dropping off the Uhaul. It would be helpful for this location to have an after hours number in case something like this happens again.

Bob-- the man who was working there when I arrived-- had no idea there was supposed to be a drop off and insisted they do not take 24/7 drop offs. He came out of the building yelling "you can't leave this here!". He called his manager and when he realized I was supposed to be there, he was very annoyed and hostile. He told me he would do the check in, and when I said I needed to take pictures and fill out the things online-- he again, became angry. It was a really strange and stressful interaction with him and it caused me even more stress on my moving day.

They didn't care to reduce the gas level the in the contract despite them acknowledging it when I reported it before renting the Uhaul and now I'm trying to call customer care to fix it and no one picks up for my extra charge!

Clean the uhaul better. Make sure weather stripping in in tack and not coming off the hing of the door. Get the brakes serviced.

I reserved a 17’ truck. I got two confirmation emails. The first was confirming my preferred location was downtown. The second reported that I have to go to Ballard. I did not review the 2nd email until I got there. I ended up using a van b/c that’s all the location had. It took me 3 trips instead of one.

I paid for furniture mats to be included with the rental. When I arrived at my apartment with the van, I realized the mats were not in the vehicle - this was inconvenient. I returned the truck after hours and was charged a missing equipment fee the following morning on top of the rental charge. I called the location to get a refund, and was told I then had to call another number to process a refund. I called 1800GOUHAUL and waited on hold for at least 15 minutes before speaking with a rep. Getting the refund took another 20 minutes (I don't understand why it would have to take this long). I asked for a refund on the pad rental and missing equipment charge - this was approved after waiting a long time, and I'm not even sure this will include the tax that I paid on the initial fees.
