My original pick up location was changed because the Uhaul rep that scheduled it (for 5pm per my request), was unaware that location closed at noon that day. My new p/u location was 18 miles away, yes the miles were given back to me along with like a $20 discount or something, but the truck I was supposed to take had a flat, the tire would need replaced. Forget about the fuel issue, since I fueled up the first truck before noticing the tire. Uhaul made it right at the end (after first telling me I was going to be charged $131.00 for fuel), (Of note- I did ask the rep at the p/u location, if there was a form I was supposed to complete on the truck condition. I was told no, they already had pictures of everything, and everything was already marked). Also, I'm pretty sure I was charged for 2 days, but had the truck 5pm Fri.- 4pm Sat., the following day. Which also was a hassle, because the p/u location told me that my drop off location closed at 4, not a minute later. I had to bust a** to get the truck unloaded and returned by 4 only to find out, that location didn't close until 7pm. I know right now, during the pandemic, hours online don't always match up with real store hours, but Uhaul just didn't communicate within very well at all, and that did not make my last move easy for me.

I was double booked for a 24/7 pick up at 6am. Uhaul called & scheduled for another location & was told I could pick up the truck at 6am with the 24/7 option, which I initially reserved. When I arrived the following day at 5:50am, I was unable to pick because "the location hadn't input me as a 24/7 pick up & now my pick up time had been changed to 9am, 3 hrs after my scheduled picked up. When I arrived a 9am the gentlemen told me I might not be able to to pick up a truck due to the system being down. He then said I needed to put down $100.00 cash deposit in order to pick up the vehicle. Nevertheless, I had to go to the ATM to withdraw money. Due to all the complications & mishaps I wasn't able to pick up the truck until after 10am, which the personnel at the counter told me that the Uhaul rep that I spoke to at 5:50am could've made my reservation to a 24/7 pickup, which was what I had initially reserved. I've used Uhaul in the past & had no issues. I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication and training within the company. My experience was terrible & I was 4hrs behind in my move. A late move in Texas is horrible due to the heat. Please Uhaul do better.
Make sure that the vehicle/equipment is in good working order. The ramp completely fell out when it was pulled out for use. It fell to the ground and nearly hit our feet not to mention unexpectedly jerking the arms of the operator.
What a great experience. The gentleman help me in every way. This rental provider is a five star. Thanks again U-Haul for the awesome service
