Not very friendly and took way too long to get the vehicle.

Ensure vehicle is ready when rental has been confirmed. I had to wait an hour and a half to have the manager try to jump start the truck because battery is dead. Had to get customer service on the call to get another vehicle which was not easy getting transferred multiple times. No compensation or discount on kilometer either for lost time and inconvenience. Manager telling me I gave him a hard time because he cannot provide the service that he committed.

Trucks covered in snow. Sent to one down the road. Wrong truck. Came back. Around the corner. Cleared snow again. Truck was clean and drove well but smelled very strongly of old cigarettes. When we came back, trouble with the bill. Ended up paying cash because computer difficulties with credit. Great location though. People seemed nice.

If the conditions of rental say it is possible to pick up the truck at 7.30, this needs to be true. I was there 7.30 and the registration online did not work and there was nobody at the site. I had to wait 20 minutes for the person to arrive, open the store and give me the keys.

I went earlier than what the time my booking was for. However he didn't ask me how long I wanted the truck for and printed out the paperwork. Once I realized it said to return by 7:30pm, I told him I needed it until 8:30pm. He told me now I already printed it, "Don't worry you can return it by 8:30pm". Now I'm seeing pending charges for an additional day. I hope it gets fixed, because I'll not pay when I was told bring the truck back by 8:30pm. Thanks

This is the worst place ever. I booked a uhaul online for 9:00 and the guy did not arrive to open his store until 945. Then he said that we didn’t reserve it until 945. In reality, the reservation kept getting pushed back automatically because it knew we hadn’t picked it up yet. The guy tried to lie and say that he was at the store at 830 but there was another customer there that had arrived even earlier than us and was also waiting for an hour for them to open. While I was waiting for them to arrive, I called uhaul and was passed from one representative to the next and the only option that they suggested was to go to another location 15 min away. I complained that we were losing elevator booked time for moving and she offered a discounted $/km rate. After I got off the phone, the store manager had arrived. He did not want to honour the rate that uhaul had given to me for the other location. And not once did he apologize for being late. He offered us a dolly but we did not need it. When I pressed him further about the rate, he snapped and said that we were already getting a $10 dolly for free. We did not need it and he had tried to force it on us in the first place. Also, it wasn’t $10 like he said. It clearly said on the dolly that it was worth $7. After arguing with him, he finally agreed for a lower rate/km, even though it still was not the same rate the uhaul rep on the phone had given me. But I had already lost an hour’s worth of time and did not want to dispute the issue any further. This guy also said that he would cancel the reservation at the other location. We got a call an hour later from them asking us where we were. Absolutely ridiculous. I would give this place negative stars if it was an option.

As others said, the owner is rude and the service is poor, and he tried to charge me more but failed. I would not go again.

He is a their. He charged me 69 cents per km instead of 59 cents and he charged me 2 days instead of the 1 day service I took. The paper work does not even match the truck that I took. He used the already high km truck information and put it on my information for another truck. He then took my money and did not even give me my change and then tried to take another 71.55 from me but how I used 117 miles. I did not even use the 41 kms he estimated. It's kms in Canada. I travelled from Brock road to Kingston Road in Scarborough. I blame your company. He did the same thing to me in September 1st. He put in the system that I came back after 24 hours when that is false. He charged me two days because he said he told me only 2 hours when I borrowed for 24 hours. So he charged me 19 95 for 2 hours and another 19 95 fot 24 hours for the same 24 hour period. At that time I got change in spite of that. I filed a complaint and your office closed the investigation citing in your system that I brought the truck back after 24 hours. That is false because I called your office from the store and you also spoke with h and I heard him tell you that I should have brought the truck back in two hours for 19 95 when 19 95 is for 24 hours and I never heard back from your office only to find out yesterday that you closed my complaint and recorded that I brought the truck back after 24 hours. All lies. Why would I pay 19 95 for 2 hours when I pay 19 95 for 24 hours. On top of that he put in the system that he give me back my $100 dollars deposit and that is false. He did nor even give me back my change. He is a theif and I will be filing criminal charges against him. I will never use your service again. I will not refer anyone and I will be filing complaints with FSCO and the business Bureau. I want my money back. In fact yesterday he put 2 days in the system as well and he just give me a view of the last page and I told him open back the system and it showed he put in 2 days. He's a theif and your ompany is in on it. Now leave me be since I unsubcribed your company and since yesterday you sent me more than 11 emails. So basically you don't know the email legislation and law that governs emails.

Your system for one way drop offs needs fixing. I had booked my condo elevator for s 3 hour window and bc of your unreliable pickup system, had to get the truck in the middle of my move out window. The location was miles away and it was an absolute hassle. Why even offer the ability to request the desired pick up time? The location was in a clothing/gift shop and the operator obviously had other things on his mind. A poor representation of your company. Truck smelled like smoke and ash was in the door handle well. I would definitely look to rent from your competitors next time.

Please have the staff attach the trailer hitch n chains as the staff at this location made me do all of it won't be stood. This in my opinion is very unprofessional n unsafe for me as customer.

Problems were with reservation. We booked online at a close location right near us. Then we were phoned by the Canadian head office to say there was no trailer there and the closest one was in NewMarket (in a different city an hour drive away) We reserved it and got an email confirmation (and it said a guarantee) However when we arrived at the location the next morning, there was no trailer there and they said the reservation was transferred to a Scarborough location. We had received no phone call or email about it. I phoned and head office confirmed the move. We confirmed with the actual location and drove another hour back to the Scarborough location at which we rented successfully. However, half the day was lost and we started loading at about noon.

Hi, I booked 14 feet truck but when I went for pick up they give me 10 feet because there was no 14 feet, I supposed to pick up at 9 am went there twice store was locked up to 9:30 he showed up after I called him , and worst part he said he will charged me for $63 but $73 taken from my visa, babak 647 529 3856

Originally reserved for a location 12 km away from where it was pick up and for 8 am pick up with three weeks advance. Got an email one day before booking with new location and for 3pm when my elavator was booked from 1-4 this caused me a lot of stress and uncertainty. I had to go to that store and beg for a truck when I had reserved three weeks before. Not nice U-Haul.I should be refunded for mileage and stress caused by your business.
