The location was fine but the overall experience was not. My pick up location was changed at the very last minute after booking 2.5 weeks in advance. The location changed from one that was walkable to one that required me to have transportation to. When I called customer service, they forwarded me the scheduling and the person was outright RUDE to me. When I picked up the van, there was a warning light on that one of the tires required air. I reported it and was told "It should be fine to drive on". I put air in it, and the warning remained on. NOT IDEAL when driving on the highway!!!

I was surprised as this was a convenience store which had a van to rent, not a U-Haul store. Upon making the reservation online and choosing the mobile sign in to save time, I had to wait for 17 minutes until the pick up was done because the owner/manager of the store would stop to serve other customers before finalizing my registration. As a result, I was late to my elevator booking. Would not recommend for those in a time constraint.

I only did u haul for 3 hours and we are charged 80$ and there is am extra 39$ charge and the person from whom we booked the u haul has no idea what this charge..pls revert back

The experience wasn't great. The attending clerk didn't go out and do an inspection before departing or after departing. I was charged for furniture pads which I initially requested, but was not available on the day of the move. I was told that the charge would be removed, but I was still charged for them. I sent an e-mail regarding this issue, but have not received a reply or a credit.

Very bad experience, it made me feel that U-Haul just want to dig out more money from my pocket, just like the scam. 1.When I picked up the truck, staff told me the gas level is 3/4, he didn't even check it I believe. The truth is there was only 5/8 gas in the tank when I start up the truck. This is the first trap. I think the customer of U-Haul need to be more careful for the gas level when they pick up the truck. Because the truck might not have that much gas as shown on the documents. Better to take a picture before drive away. 2. When I returned the truck, the staff told me the total amount is $101. I was shocked. I asked him why the price is so high. He said because you drive a long distance. I said no way, please show me the invoice. He said ok, I will send it right a way. But before he sent, he suddenly said, wait, wait, sorry, I charged you for prepaid gas, I will take it off. But from my view, if I failed to realized his dirty trick, I would definitely be charged for $101. This is the second trap. 3. I never ask for $15 protection waiver but it still on my bill even I didn't choose it when I made reservation online. When I realized it, it was too late, I have already paid. The staff told me like, "Next time you need tell me to take it off when you check in, but not when you return the truck." Oh my god!!! Thissss! issss! soooo! hilarioussss!!! I never asked for it, how can I tell you to take it off when I don't even know it was there???? This is the third trap. All in all, if all things in your company's mind are just how to rip your customer off, then, good luck U-Haul!

The inside of the car was very dirty. I also suffered from a disgusting smell inside the vehicle whose source I couldn't find. It continued to bother me until the end of my rental although I kept windows open.

I signed up for the self pick up option at 1555 Warden Ave. I got an email that I had to go further away from my preferred location and the self pick was not available. As a result I had to go inside a convince store and wait as there was only one person and we kept getting interrupted by customers walking in. At the end I lost 30 minutes, which is not acceptable.
