The trailer itself was pretty beat up. The handle for lifting the tongue was broken and the latch mechanism for the sliding door was so rusty it was quite difficult to open. We had to WD-40 it and wiggle the door to the side to unlatch it. Otherwise it was fine. The young man was VERY kind and helpful.

I scheduled a pick up of a 26' truck and appliance dolly from Gould St, Savannah, GA 31405, at 1130 on 06/30/2018 reservation number 23547673 At 1136 I received a call that the Gould location did not have a 26' truck, and that I needed to go to the 3802 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, GA 31405 for a 1200 pick up. When I arrived at the Ogeechee pick up location I was told that the truck reserved for me was broken, and I was rerouted again to 2102 Bona Bella Ave, Savannah, GA 31406 for a 1300 pick up. When I arrived at the Bona Bella pick up location, I was told that the employee responsible for handling the UHaul transactions wasn't there and to come back after 1400 even though my reservation was for 1300. I called the customer service line to attempt to find a solution, for which I was on hold for 15+min, I talked with a UHaul associate who was eating while on the line with me, and told me that I'd have to reschedule for a 26' truck tomorrow. Tomorrow being not an option, I waited till after 1400 to pick up the truck from the Bona Bella location. After receiving the truck, I was told that the Bona Bella location did not have appliance dollys. So I rerouted myself at this point to 8810 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31406 to pick up a dolly, completing my order. I waisted 3+hrs of my time, trying to complete an order that should have taken 15min. The level of concern towards my inconvenience was minimal from UHaul and the pick up locations. After this customer experience, I am very disappointed in the service UHaul provided and will take my business to a different moving company that values customer service and understands tact. Thank you for waisting my time and making this decision for me.

Charged us for a day. We had to keep the truck, empty, overnight. Returned in the morning. Drive around Savannah for 45 minutes after a 12 hour day of unpacking. Please fix this, as we had to sit on the truck and return to a location that looks to not even be a U-Haul provider. My name is Matthew Lafountain and you can contact me at (912) 602-5466. the whole experience was horrible. I felt like I needed to be packing a gun to go into this store. I did the express check in online this morning to expedite the transaction, but they didn't have the system booted at the store!!! Really? It was terrible. It took well over half hour to finally get the trailer, with no help from the owners to "hook-up". Why would you allow a place like this hellhole to represent you as the largest rental company in America? Honestly. I took my time yesterday to make the reservation, then again, took my time to use the express check-in today. Then they tried to overcharge me. Asked me at least 5 times if I wanted insurance, "No", was my answer everytime, yet they tried to charge me for it. Will you please refund my money for my lost time? The return was nearly has harrowing and frustrating as the pick up. I was there well over 20 minutes. Seriously....What a disgrace.

First, the U-Haul place I was supposed to turn my truck into the U-Haul system was down and they did not tell me this when I made reservations to return it there. I had to drive and find another U-Haul store. I found one and the owner of the gas station was working alone and could not stop helping his customers to handle his U-Haul customers. We had to park the U-Haul and trailer ourselves in a rocky and dirty parking lot, in a hard angle to park in. We had to unload the dolly and take it inside and then he could not even provide a receipt or check us out. He wrote down my number and said he would call me when he checked the truck in, he never called. I moved on Nov. 3rd and I’m just now getting a receipt on Nov. 27th.
