Store worker was outstanding. She had to call U'Haul and get us requested equipment that was not left in the truck. Truck had 30 moving boxes left in it that I had to dispose of.

The customer service agent at this location was awesome!! Note: this comment ONLY reflects the online reservation portion of my experience (not the pick up or drop off location). UHaul NEEDS TO revamp its reservation pick up time confirmation.I made a reservation in back in February (so 3 months IN ADVANCE) for a specific pick up time. I received a text 2 days prior with a completely different pick up time...actually 3 hours LATER than originally reserved. After 60 minutes of being on hold and then finally talking to two different customer service reps they time was corrected to what it was on my original reservation. The next day (1 day prior to pickup) I received another confirmation with an even LATER pick up time. I spent over an hour on the phone this time trying to get this corrected. UHaul's explanation was "the truck you have reserved won't be returned until this specific time" which was 3 1/2 hours that my reservation was. WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING A RESERVATION IF THE PICK UP TIME IS NOT CONFIRMED? This should be stated clearly on the website that only the pick up day is confirmed and the time is merely a suggestion. While on the phone (holding) I was able to find a truck available in our home town (which thus involved an additional 150 miles of driving + the cost of gas). I asked the agent to change the reservation as we needed a truck at a specific time in order to be in another city that was 2 1/2 hours away -- we couldn't wait the 3 1/2 hours for our truck. Each time I was on hold for 20 minutes before anyone even picked up and now I know why....because other people were probably calling and complaining and needing to change their pick up time as well. When a reservation is made for the day & TIME, both of these need to be met -- NOT JUST ONE!!
Equipment was clean but the driver's side windshield washer did not work. Passenger side worked but driver's side did not. That is a problem in the Midwest during spring. Lots of bug splatters obstructing views. It rained so a little less of an issue but needs fixing.
both trailers lights did not work -- personnel at Midway was very helpful and offered different ways to make my experience a good one. Truck was very clean and well maintained.
I reserved for pickup in Baraboo, WI but was told when I tried to pick it up, I had to drive 20 miles away to pick up the trailer. Don't give the option to pick up in one location and then not allow it to happen.
trailor was missing a back hold down chain but I had planned to strap it down with my straps anyway so no problem
we were instructed to drop off at a different location when we picked up the equipment but got a text message for another location.
All the blankets in the uhaul were full of saw dust. While moving the blankets opened up and saw dust got over all my belongings
Nothing: good price, good trailor, helpful staff, especially with challenge I had with my electrical / plug.
Rhonda was the gal that helped me Thursday morning 8/30. She was very nice and helpful, even though the U-Haul website wasn't working quite like it should. It was a good experience and I would recommend them to anyone. Good job, Rhonda!
Inside of cab was dirty needed cleaning Packing blankets were not folded and all the blankets were either damp or wet.
The location was fine. Perhaps a little slow to process because they don't see much traffic, and not super proficient on the computer, but very nice and understanding. She also only had 11 furniture pads at her location. Not a big deal. The issue I have is with UHaul itself. I had to drive an extra hour away from my moving location to pick up the truck with no sort of reimbursement offered from UHaul, besides the additional miles for the truck. My time and hassle were not addressed in the least by an official UHaul representative. I understand the city I was moving from was busy, but it was just an additional negative thing to happen during my moving experience.
I made reservations at Ness Sales in Lodi, WI. Didn't know I had to pick up in Sauk City until day before. Don't know why I couldn't rent for $29.95? Also told where to return the truck in East Bristol, WI, and charged extra mileage. The cost for this rental was ridiculous. Never had a problem like this before. Very unsatisfied.

Lazy rep obviously sisnr check in the truck and now they are charging me money they don't deserve and get an attitude with me when I try and get my money back!!!!
The Midway Oil attendant was very helpful and knowledgeable. My only gripe is with the uhaul website. It is very hard and cumbersome to use. The online check-in was a complete failure. Five stars to Midway Oil. Zero stars for the uhaul website.
Maybe cruise control, the accelerator was difficult to keep steadily depressed since the truck bounced a lot.
Wish we could have picked up in Baraboo as requested and not have to drive to Sauk City.

When booking a Uhaul vehicle it would be very helpful if the location you boo it from is the location you get confirmation for not another location. If Uhaul changes the pick up location, the email confirmation shoudl have a big "Attention: We have changed your pick up location" notice on it.
Excellent service at Midway Oil. I got there only about 10 minutes before they close but they were more than willing to stick around a few minutes late to make sure everything was hooked up OK and ready to go.
They were suppose to be open Sundays till 3 but when I got there at 2 they were closed. I had to wait for someone to come. He was very helpful
Got over charged for the amount of time I needed the truck and was also charged $42 for safemove. Did not agree to that.
