took over an hour to check in even tho I had done all the necessary pre-work. The van smelled like smoke. It wouldn't' go faster than 3 miles per hour for about a half mile.

It was convenient, and I had good service once I dealt with a person inside. However, I was suppose to do a mobile pickup. My location service on my device was on, but I kept getting a message saying it wasn't. I experienced the same thing at drop off. By the time the site opened for business, and I could finish the transaction, I was already 1.5 hours behind schedule.
Has always been an excellent experience. Beverley runs the friendliest and most professional UHaul office I've used, nationwide. I've moved across the country and will miss her. Thanks, S.
I didn't notice until I started loading at 03:30 am, that the floor of the trailer was very flimsy. It looks as though it would have to be reinforced, in the future, and it held up fine from NY, to Florida.
Despite completing all of the "pre" rental process (pre-paying, pre-submitting copies of my drivers license, etc.) I was still in person with the pick up location staff for about a half hour. This was time that I did not have to spend. The technology wasn't working properly, the staff took 2 calls while I was there, and had to contact 2 of my references all while I waited. This was unreasonable. I might have been more understanding if my rental vehicle was actually at the promised location when I made the reservation. Only after providing my credit card information and over an hour later, was I made aware that instead of driving a round trip of about 30 minutes to pick up the vehicle, I spent 2.5 hours round trip to pick it up as the location was changed to the better part of 50 miles away. This is also completely unreasonable and ultimately is the reason that I will find another company to work with in the future. My time is valuable and you treated me as if it was not.
Don't advertise $19.95 rental. The insurance is presented in such a way that it panics you into purchasing that for another $14. Then zero miles included?? That $19.95 rental...not per day but for a few hours...cost me just under $75! Yikes!

I normally don't write reviews But this location they earned it I had the best experience with u haul at this location. It was very professional. Everything was ready for me before I got there I normally worry about contract with any company this time I felt I'm in good hands and I was. I highly recommend this location Its always good to give people credit when you know they deserve it. Thank you!!!
I was very upset over the time it took for the computer to get my paper work prepare so I could leave with the truck. I waiting over 45 minutes for the paper work and you would think you guys would of gave me discount not only for the wait and the inconvenience but I'm a first responder As well . Very bad business if you ask me will never rent with uhaul again and will all my friends to go elsewhere as well ....
After submitting all the information required when making reservations online, it is ridiculous that the pickup process took more than an hour. That resulted in wasted time and impinged the plans for the day. What problems were there, you wonder: A. If you expected to use an app without having to do an in-person contact (in these CoVid times that would be a great benefit), sorry! Absurdly the app says you are not at the site! Apparently it uses the "wifi" and doesn't recognize that you are at the site unless you walked into the office!! B. The app requires many previously unexplained and surprising new requirements when trying to use the "automated" check-out process: a) Multiple alternate contact persons (I was asked first for 2 contact people, and then an additional third and fourth person!) b) Each contact person apparently needed to have a different phone number from you, and from each other (not explained on the app) c) The contacts you specify need to be ready to answer a call from UHaul on-demand d) Passport information and the passport itself for image capture e) and optional alternative was your lease! Why wouldn't they specify these requirements when you reserve online? Apparently it is some "security measure" to spring on you after the fact! I did expect to provide a drivers license, my personal auto insurance, and a credit card -- other than these all other requirements seem extremely arbitrary to be asking with no prior expectation.
I can't explain how pleasant this lady is at this , location. I forgot her name but she represents customer service at its finest. She was kind, patient , knowledgeable and just a good helpful person all around.
The 15' truck I reserved was not available. There was no price adjustment for the downgrade to a 10' truck however, additional miles were included with the rental. The employee Beverly provided excellent customer service - she was apologetic for the unplanned downgrade and very willing to request additional mileage to offset some of the inconvenience.

we use u haul 4 or 5 times a year this time was the first time van was not clean smelled like animals as we had already loaded our things we did not return it until after we did our delivery but we will use them again as they are always the best just a mix up I am sure!!
Difficulty with the smart phone app, loading. No good signal in that area. App should no rentals when I went to drop truck off so I just left the key in the drop box and tried the chat to let them know what time I was there to drop it off. It all worked out in the end but was frustrating and time consuming. In the future I will pick up when the office is open.........much easier.
