I was hesitant to use this location due to a low average score. We were in a pinch for a 2nd trailer and were able to get one here. Everything went very well, trailer was perfect and the service was excellent. I will make this my first stop the next time I need a Uhaul
I was supposed to pickup at the mobile station where we always have. Usual moved me to this jackass who doesn't show up, trailer is covered in 12 inches of snow, no one answers the phone. I ended up finding a giant lead pipe to help me get it on the ball of my truck and a shovel. It took me about two hours to dig the uhaul out while I was paying movers at my house waiting on me.
To start there was a sign on the door to call him. Then I had to wait for him. Then he would not even assist me with hooking up the trailer to my vehicle. Then the trailer did not have the wiring so I had to use one off a different trailer as I could not find the guy again. Completely terrible experience.
Quick and easy. They had staff available to load the trailer on and out I went!
I picked the truck up on a frigid morning.Peter Gailor had my rental vehicle running and all warmed up , waiting for me. The service was courteous and things went smoothly. This uhaul vendor was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Gailor Landscaping!
I thought we were getting a Uhaul for $155, which is what the website says, plus minimal insurance. We were billed over $234. NOT OKAY. No one is happy with UHAUL's new "streamlined" way of doing business. Honesty and integrity are still valued in society.
There was a power outage on the day I needed the truck. When I went to pick up the 29.95 truck no one was there. I was stuck with hired movers and no moving truck. I had to scramble to find another location. They only had a 19.95 truck available. Horrible experience. 1800 go uhaul had long wait. Terrible experience.
I prepaid for utility dolly and appliance dolly but appliance dolly wasn't available and I wasn't refunded
I paid for an appliance hand truck and a dozen blankets. None of which I got. Truck handled well. Just want a credit
We specifically requested a uhaul in Glens falls. We were forced to travel about 20 miles out of our way, and we were forced to pay for it! Uhaul also expected us to travel an hour back and return the uhaul, and you were going to charge us another $25 for that!!
Nothing - Perfect!
Sure the place was fine. But I go sent an email saying they needed to change my place of pick up of a van. Which is rediculous it was way out of my way and I had to pay the mileage to go pick up and drop off. ?? Shouldn't have had to wasn't my choices of pl e to get van. I'm not happy and will use a diff rental place from now on
The most harrowing and demoralizing uhaul experience of my life. To make a long story short, it involved me standing in the dark in the parking lot for three hours begging uhaul employees to stop transferring me, putting me on hold, etc and one person actually did call me back when I asked them to and I finally got the van but by then it was too late to pack up for the event I had to work the next day. I returned the truck early. People? Get human. Stop telling people to â€œgo onlineâ€ when I'm talking to you on the phone. Express pickupbus not well coordinated st all. I asked To not be charged for day 1 since I couldn't pick up the truck till almost 11pm. Uhaul kept expiring my reservation and I kept having to call in, being on hold over and over and over. Stop expiring people's reservations!
UHaul company itself was difficult to deal with; reservation terms were given over phone and then at end of contract those agreed terms were not followed therefore We were charged extra. This is not fault of the company licationit was picked up at; it is miscommunication at uhaul and computer issue. We will bring this to attention of several to get this straightened out. When you call the 800 Uhaul number you are just placed on hold for a very long time. I've called five times and held over 15 mins. Ridiculous.
It took over 30 minutes to get out of there. He needed 2 personal references, then wanted to charge me $25 for the insurance when I had been quoted $16 online. And he wanted a registration number for the vehicle that I was towing! What difference does that make? Then after typing all my info into the computer, he had to call someone and give them all that info over the phone. I've rented $50,000 vehicles with less hassle.!
It took 40 minutes to get the truck through the phone. I think it was because the WiFi was in a poor area
Cole, the person at this location, was very helpful, esp considering that UHAUL sent us to his location unexpectedly after the proprietor at the first location failed to show up. But UHAUL had not supplied this location with dollies or pads. Also, the driver's side windshield wiper snapped off later that night when I was driving on the highway in rain and sleet, causing a dangerous situation and considerable stress.

Great experience. Needed to call Uhaul before and everyone spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful
Had to drive 1 hour to pick up no straps or cart as asked had to go to another place to get cart and then go buy straps none at the location. I asked for these to be with the truck now bring charged for extra milage.
Was not open when truck returned
