After calling several times begging to extend the rental because my mother is having medical issues and is in critical care I was put on hold, transferred to otger departments and hung up on. I recieved 17 calls from Uhaul confirming I would be in time to drop off. I told 5 different people to please stop harassing me and calling. I made it clear I had left my mothers hospital bedside and was in route to return the van. I recieved 3 more calls. I was greeted by a employee who felt it was appropriate to laugh at me while I was crying explaining that I had no time to put gas in the van because they made me return it 1 hour early. I will never go to this location and I will never forget the disgusting why I was treated by Uhaul employees during a extremely difficult time.

Van was dirty on the outside and not perfectly clean on inside storage area either. Was emailed ORIGINAL MILEAGE-that should be given in a document at time of rental! Rep hard to understand and his English comprehension was a challenge!

Battery died at first stop! Had to wait for a jump- I asked for a discount and the dealer said no! Very poor scenario. Watch out for trucks at prospect and Saratoga-Sunnyvale- they don’t work and neither do the guys running the place!

This was one of the worst experiences i've ever had. The attendant couldn't process my reservation. Had to call for help. The customer service lady was very rude to me and the attendant. She signed off without solving the issue. The attendant restarted a completely new contract. After an hour, I finally got a van but it made me an hour late. On returning, the attendant then tried to charge me for two days, even though I had for just 5 hours. Terrible experience!!

No one was available at the designated 7:00 a.m. drop off time, however I was still charged $20.00 for an extra day because it was now 10:00 a.m. Personnel did not know how to waive the extra day.

We could barely open the back of the truck. The cable was not functioning on the left side. Very difficult to understand the attendant. We only drove 30 miles but were charged for over 400 miles. We never received a copy of the contract when we picked up the truck.

This was disappointing - it was very hard to communicate with the agent -- I had tried to make a reservation in person first, and was told to make it online. The first truck I was given was also dirty, and the back was difficult to open and close. I didn't have to deal with it for long because it turns out that I was given the wrong key. Before the agent directed me toward the correct truck (which was clean), he chatted with his friend for several minutes while I was waiting there. I was charged $10 for a dolly, when the dolly itself says it should be a $7 charge. Finally, I had wanted a one-way rental to be dropped off in Millbrae, but I received a text saying that I should drop it off in San Francisco (several miles in the wrong direction), which took several phone calls to change back to a more convenient location. Overall, an awful experience.

I had multiple issues: problems with app during reservations- and never received confirmation of a reservation. I was misquoted cost at rental, and I only received a copy of the contract the day AFTER I had returned vehicle. I was then charged extra for mileage after the person who checked me in said after examining the vehicle said our business was concluded. This irks me because I added about 3 gallons too much of gas, and told them not to worry about it. Next day I get numerous calls while at work asking for more money for additional charges and “when am I going to return the truck?” Including calls from corporate manager. A completely unprofessional business model and practice. In compromise I was offered $10 off the “final” price; doesn’t even cover the cost of the extra gas I left them for all the grief and interruptions to my work day that they put me through to “fix” their mistake. U-Haul does not know the meaning of customer service, and the corporate manager didn’t seem to care that he would lose my future business. Yelp review to follow.

My order was cancelled. I booked it for 11.30, and when i called to say I was running late the man said he had no booking for me. He was very confusing as to what the situation was. He eventually had one when I got there. He said the van was dirty in the front, not from us and we did less milage than he charged us. not easy to communicate with this store.

The web-based checkout never worked. After 40mins and calling the indicated help line twice with no answer, i finally went to the service station attendant. He told me all trucks were reserved and seemed disinterested in helping. After insisting i was one of the reservations, he finally checked and i got the truck. Upon return he was nowhere to be found. Finally appeared and checked me out. At least post some signs directing customers to see the attendant. And get rid of on-line rentals for this location. Totally misleading and confusing. Never again.

The pickup location for the trailer changed to much further away just two days before I had to pick up, so I didnt have time to make other arrangements. I was forced to pick up at 4:30pm and was told I could not pick up at any other time on saturday. There is a big language barrier at this location. Laptop computer kept resetting and the checkout took about 45 minutes and the owner had to be called into the location. Customer service told me I couldn't bring trailer back to closer location to my home. Owner yelled and was rude to a different customer asking for compressed air for their car. Terrible location.

We are overcharged for CDW which we declined and extra 2 gallon of gas which does not apply for the miles we drove. We called the location and only was told everything was too late and it was the other worker who made mistakes and there was nothing can be done. The person who answered the phone was mean, demanding worst customer service I’ve experienced. Definitely will not go back

The one-man-staff was very nice. The place was fine. The drive was good, the truck looks newer but the inside was so dusty. I coughed after I opened the air on, must be from the dust from the vent.

The rental facility was not staffed when I first tried to rent a truck on 7-12-18. When I rented on 7-13-18, there was a delay due to computer being turned off. Vehicle was dusty inside and out. The rental place put gas in the tank after I dropped it off and charged me extra. I drove 20 miles total and showed the attendant a receipt for 2 gallons of gas purchased three minutes prior to return. I dislike being nickeled and dimed in that way.

Actually i reserved truck near my house, customer service called and said they were not able to provide me truck for the selected date and time and asked me to pick up at different location and promised me free miles, but it was not taken care. I am unhappy with the entire transaction.

I arrived 8:30 am to pick up truck reserved at 9:00 am. the wifi in the 76 gas station location is so poor that the U-Haul app didnt work. I spent 45 minutes with customer service hoping to resolve the issue so I can pick up my truck. the U-haul web server simply hung even I have crawling wifi signals. I had to wait for the live person arrive at 10:00 am to check out the truck. very very unsatisfactory as I have wasted 1 1/2 hours to pick up truck. with two movers supposed to start the work at 9:00am. I recommend U-haul not allow online pick up or fix the u-haul web server connectivity issues.
