Amanda and Tyler are awesome. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. They checked prices, and equipment - they even measured the truck to make sure my stuff would fit. Amanda got me a a stellar price, and Tyler made sure the truck was the right size and that all of the little dings and scratches were docmented before I left so I wouldn’t get dinged for them.

The male employeewho made the appointment the day before we picked up was incredibly rude and unprofessional, both to customers and his coworkers. He also messed up our reservation, more than once during the process, I believe due to not listening well. Despite that, the female employee who checked us in on day of pickup was professional and corrected his mistake. This was all after attempting to make a reservation online and having a customer service representative mess that up. There needs to be major improvements to your system.

Give the Young manager at this location a raise...and let him teach other UHAUL managers....You've got a rare Jem there, who will increase you reputation and business. Dealt with this outfit twice now...both times the Manager surprised me with his wit wisdom and candor...Thanks for the chance to speak about him.

Reserved a truck..was presented with a 26 foot truck with complete front end damage..looked like it rammed a bollard at 15 MPH. Requested another truck as I had a 600 mile drive ahead of me ..yard guy threw a complete fit at my request. ..would NOT complete paperwork or walk around and looked like he wanted to brawl. In short..he has no business dealing with the public or people..short temper and no filter. I have been renting from this location for years and in fact have rented at least one truck or trailer every two weeks for the past year.

Amanda was cold, unapologetic, and terrible at problem solving. First I did not recieve a confirmation, then when I called to confirm it and inform her that I was running late, she told me the truck wasn't there. I had to prompt her to solve the problem. She agreed to find a replacement and at 535 called back to tell me to come get the truck. When I arrived 15 mins later, she said the truck wasn't there and said it was at a different location because. She almost had me walking to a place down the road that turned out to be closed- something I discovered not her. Then she told me that the truck was returned to the lot at 545 because that location closed at 6. So that means she calles me to tell me to come get the truck and while I was traveling there to get the truck ahe allowed it to he returned to the other location. At no point did she say sorry for the inconvenience. I asked if there were any other 10 ft trucks on the lot and she said no. And then provided no more solutions or assistance. Ultimately, I got help froma wonderful woman named Lisa on the customer service line. It was through her involvement that Amanda arranged for me to rent a 10 ft truck thats used for one-way travel. All of which approximately an hour. It seems Amanda could have worked to get permission to use a one-way truck early on in our conversation. I had a terrible experience and will never use uhaul again. I will also tell all of the people I know about this awful customer service.

I was told when picking up that I would have one months free storage at drop off location, when I arrived I was informed there wasn’t any due to a fire so, after a 14 hour drive I had to seek a storage facility on my own. It would have been nice to know that before hand

I'd strongly recommend that U-haul consider having more than one driver available for deliveries from this office, perhaps someone "on call" for emergencies...Folks really rely on getting their stuff delivered on time, especially just before the holidays, and one staff "call in" on the morning of a delivery can wreak havoc on loads of holiday planning for the people depending on a delivery. I understand that things happen but an on-call person would have been of great help. The excellent staff at this particular office (and at customer service) tried very hard to accommodate the issue, though, despite the havoc this had also created on their end and that something had been promised to us by phone that was actually unavailable that day. That considered, we ended up doing A LOT more lifting, physical moving, and driving ourselves than the service we'd planned to pay u-haul for. I was impressed by the staff and their efforts to find a solution, though.

this location was not my first choice on the online request. UHaul changed from my preferred to this location at the last minute. When I went to pick up, the woman behind the counter said I was in the wrong location. But I showed her the new email and text and she finally decided to look it up, and lo and behold, she found it. After processing me, she told me to wait outside and the truck would be brought around immediately. 10 min later, I went back in to ask where the truck was, and she said, "it's coming out right now." 5 minutes later, still no truck. I go back inside and there are 6 people laughing and talking, but no one had yet gotten my truck. I ask again, and finally someone gets up and slowly walks across the lot to get a truck. I go help him put the pads in the back because it is now later than I wanted to be there, and he says he needs to take pictures, etc. The gas gauge was supposed to say 7/8 full, but it was not even 1/2 full, so I have to go back in and get the paperwork adjusted. It was not a good experience. I also did not get my first choice in drop off. Why even give people options? It is like a fake service option to be able to pick where to pick up and drop off. I got zero of my choices. AND the drop off location given to me was not open on Sundays, when I wanted to deliver it. It would have been Christmas Eve on Monday when I was to deliver it. I had to call and get that changed as well.

I booked a storage unit with the customer service and before my trip I called to reconfirm. I was told that I would get a free month of storage for renting the equipment. when I got to the drop off location I found out that there storage facility had burned down so I had no place to store my possessions. They did not find a new location for my storage needs so I had to run around on the day before Christmas Eve and miss dinner with family so I could find another open storage facility and pay more money than I had planned. I have rented thousands of dollars worth of equipment from haul over the years since I move around the country quit a bit, and they have still not made it right. If this is the kind of service Uhaul is providing these days I will find another company to rent from in the future. This whole experience was a nightmare for me and my family and I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the service I was provided. Also instead of helping me the manager asked me to call 1800 go uhaul to complain so customer service would stop sending customers to them for there storage needs I found this extremely unprofessional as if after all this I had time to do her job for her.

I brought back two full bags of blankets that I had not used. I specifically asked if my account could be credited. They said they would credit me, then when I got the bill it was what I had been quoted with the blankets. I asked them to recheck. Eventually I got my discount but I had to insist on getting a paper bill and had to insist that the total they calculated was wrong in order to get the discount. Not great customer service.
