Lady working was rude and made me feel like I was incovienienceing her. She yelled at me for driving my truck onto the lot to pick up a trailer and cursed. Unacceptable attitude I will seek other rental company next time.

The U-Haul reservation system needs serious improvement. When I reserve a particular piece of equipment - and get an order confirmation - I expect that this specific equipment is going to be available. On this occasion the trailer I wanted (ultimately) was not available and I was forced to rent the next size up - and pay the increased rate! U-Haul guarantees your order or pays you $50... I did get the $50 which made up for the cost of the larger trailer. The point being, however: It's bad PR to oversell and the $50 guarantee may not always be an equalizer. I checked the box in the survey that I would recommend U-Haul to a friend... but to be clear, I would warn them first.

Trailer brakes not working correctly. They would engage and disengage inappropriately. The location hours were from 9am to 11am on a Saturday. They said there wouldn't be anyone around in the afternoon & the trailer could be left along the street. I was not comfortable with leaving trailer parked along the street "like a car" without checking unit back in or to have assistance to take trailer off of hitch on my truck.

Friendly service but truck was not cleaned out. Was told that the tank was full and would need to return it full. No issues except it was not full. I drove the truck 22 miles and filled the tank, at a cost of $15. I have pictures to show the mileage and gas gauge level before and after...I was duped.

I'm going to start out by saying that I wrote Uhaul off a long time ago after a horrible incident with the way you/they messed up my reservation, that aside, we were forced to rent from Uhaul because we were moving on short notice and Penske trailers were not available. We were told that if we wanted to return our trailer that we could just park it on the street. When we arrived at 6:30pm to return it, there was no where on the street to park it except for one space which required us to parallel park it. Do you know how difficult it is to parallel park a damn trailer! We had to physically pick the trailer up and park it by hand. This after moving all day. We were not happy! It would be nice if you would designate certain spots on the street for trailers only. That being said. I will continue to avoid Uhaul at all costs. This was an exception because I was in a pinch but I am consistently disappointed by the service with Uhaul and will try my hardest to not rent from this company again.

Please let customers call a UHaul location directly. We had work done at your White Oaks and Camden Avenue locations in San Jose, CA. It seems the call center and the site don't communicate well. If we had a question that the call center cannot answer, we had to drive to the location to speek directly to a technician. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and that is extremely frustrating !!!!

Turn in location was supposed to be open at 9am nobody ever showed up. Tried to return on the phone, did not recognize my rental. Finally was able to get in touch with customer service, who did not know why this location was not open. She finally just accepted by return on the phone. Turn in was an hour and a waste of time.
