Please don't make the mistake I made. Horrible experience! Their system wasn't up when picking up, they were late, did not communicate their $20 charge for returns after hours, did not tell us about using the app to waive charge. They charged for gas even though we returned the same as when we pick it up (3/4 of tank), they charged 4 miles more for the trip because "that's what the truck read"... horrible. Called AAMCo and Joel (or Joe) denied everything. Always take pictures of everything and if possible return vehicle when there is someone there OR better yet, run!!

I asked for a furniture dolly. I sent my mother to pick up the truck for me. When I met her to get the truck, it had a utility dolly in it and no furniture dolly. The gas tank was at around 1/4 of a tank. I had to stop and put $40 gas in it just to get up to los angeles. The paperwork said it had over 1/2 tank...IT DID NOT! I had to then put an additional $60 in the gas tank; that is $100 dollars in gas!!! I did not request SaveMove insurance yet I was charged $28 dollars for it. I am just now reviewing my receipt and there is an additional $47.83 that I am being charged. For what I do not know! I only went $9 dollars over the mile limit. I want this all resolved and I want to be refund the amounts I should be! I will never use UHaul again!!!

I was unhappy to have to drive a half hour out of my way to return the truck in another city; plus my wife having to drive all those extra miles plus our time. However Joe at Aamco was very pleasant and understanding of my frustration.

They were not present at the time of my arrival and were not able to advise me about an overcharge that was implemented by the Uhaul phone application. otherwise, it went well. Close to an Arby's!

There was no discussion about insurance and then I was charged a $70.00 "Safe Trip" fee without my knowledge. In addition I asked how much was he putting on my credit card and was told 565.00 + 5.00 environmental fee or a total of 570.00 The total came out to over 684.00. Sleeze at best. In addition I was told by the owner I was getting the "good" truck which turned out to have a non working air conditioner during one of the hottest days of this fall.

The system was down and the two employees were having a hard time. I did the 24/7 truck pickup but there was no dolly so I tried to rent one online and the store location did not come up as having one available so I had to move without a dolly.

It was a pain to rent and get the key from lock box on sundays. It took 2 and half hour to go to app and get the code for key. Worst experience and bad customer service. Keep sending the drivers license and references. I think I should not pay for this kind of experience.
