Rental office was closed at 3pm instead of 4pm without any notice and I was unable to pick-up my vehicle through the app. Was lucky someone opened up at 4pm and helped me out. The whole experience was disappointing.

Don't charge people a cleaning fee when you gave them a dirty truck. And how can you charge late fees when it wasn't even late yet. Ridiculous!!!!!

Always a pleasure to rent your trucks. The 17' truck is the best. As a matter of fact it is more of a pleasure to drive your truck than my own 2001 Dodge. The seats are very comfortable. Your 17' truck has great power and easy to navigate in traffic and narrow lanes. Thank you. -Ed

There was no direction as to where to return the keys to. I returned the keys to a box that had the uhaul label on them. I was informed they couldn't find the keys in that box and they were unwilling to contact the person who could have taken them. Still waiting to see if they try to charge me. Their poor ability to explain the return process is not my fault and I should not be charged for this

There were blankets stroon across the back of the truck when we got it. Some broken wood inside too. And I made the reservation but put my wife as the driver on my registration, as I am injured and unable to drive. They wouldn't validate her as the driver as she didn't make the reservation. But I was able to list her as the driver on the reservation. That was not clear at all and we had to cancel and start over.

Option to register early was great. Gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and pleasant. He advised upon my return he would adjust the bill since I needed the truck for less time than I'd expected. New invoice was sent within 30 minutes. Only issue was the truck was at a quarter tank full when I picked it up so I was forced to pay for gas. I assumed tanks were full at pick up.

I had originally booked this truck for a location in San Francisco. Planned the move very specifically around this and then was told one day before that I would have to drive 40 minutes to a different location to pick up the truck, I didn't have a car so I was going to have to catch an expensive taxi. Very annoying. We kept trying to get the same truck closer and eventually one was found at Park Merced (20 mins from where we were supposed to get out truck), but still a lot of added stress when there is supposed to be a guarantee that the location I booked would be provided.

My only suggestion is to honor customer’s location requests. I chose the Valencia St. location because it was closer to my apartment and when you’re moving time management is so important. Picking up our Uhaul from the Cambon Dr. location added about an hour to our timeframe.

Guy in charge didn't help with hook-up even though he said he would come outside to help. I figured it out, but a less experienced person probably would risk a serious problem if not hooked up correctly. Not a safe way to do business.

This location gave us excellent service. Unfortunately, it was the third location to which we were referred. We made online reservation early in week for Millbrae location. The next day it was transferred by U-haul to Bayshore Blvd location for 8:45 am on Oct. 28. We arrived at about 8:30 am and was informed to another change of location to Cambon Dr. without any text notice from company. As we were driving to third location I received text at 9:02 am about this third location. Too late to prevent us having to go to Baysore first. The individuals at Bayshore Blvd location were rather dismissive of any inconvenience we had suffered. Luckily the Manager at Cambon Dr. location was very helpful and made an accommodation for us without our asking.

It would be great if they would discuss how to drive the truck in a city with a lot of hills- meaning how and when to shift gears. Also, I would like to know about brake and tire inspections.

Avoid using the website at all costs, it's broken, and unusable. Unfortunately that makes the support numbers necessary, which are in many ways as bad as the website. The in-person service is more their forte. The people running the 47 Cambon (Parkmerced) location are great.

U-Haul kept adding more charges onto my credit card, over and above the original deal, with no notification or explanation. Four additional charges just showed up in my bank account. I will not be using U-Haul again; I'm very unhappy with the company's financial behavior.

Everything was ok except one small detail. We used 24 miles total. When we received our email they stated that we used 74 miles. I called and they checked and explained that they made a mistake and they would take care of it. Other than that the customer service was really nice and the truck worked out great

I found the customer service rep. very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion for the company, which would greatly reduce the stress of the situation is if you could possibly offer overnight parking for customers' cars while they were renting a truck/van. Anyway, thanks for the help.
