Grado:

Call center needs better customer service. The lock boxes have failed us and made us make adjustments to our plans multiple times now. The app can’t handle something unless you absolutely took the happy path. Frustrating. Hate to be the guinea pig yet again for big business..

Grado:

The process to get the keys was arduous and required two validation points. Took almost a half hour to get the truck. Also the keys were in the wrong lock box, we had to keep trying the code until a box opened.

Grado:

Vehicle was fine. Pickup and drop off experience is terrible and Takes a very long time to speak to anyone at 800 number.

Grado:

Returning the vehicle was a little problematic as the key box would not open and there was no slot available to return the keys. I solved the problem as I had people waiting for me by reparking the vehicle in the next slot where the key box did open. Not sure how the other rental was able to return but hopefully they were. Chat was available up until the last screen of checkout then disappeared. It needs to stay available post checkout in case there are problems with leaving the keys.

The first time customer experience for 24/7 truck share was terrible. I was standing in the garage alone for an hour trying to get everything to work. spoke with 5 customer reps in total. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND.

Grado:

So easy to use. Awesome idea - I only needed the truck for a few hours and it was so much easier to get it through the mobile method. Very pleased with the experience.

I will never use Uhaul again. I don't care if I'm one customer out of millions but I will spend the rest of my life convincing all friends, family, acquaintances, clients, and all-around complete strangers never to use Uhaul so that they don't experience the same stress and pain that I did. Moving is already a stressful experience in of itself - UHaul should be the one facilitating and making it a much less stressful experience overall - but all they did was add the heaping problems of moving apartments. Despite the nasty review, I genuinely understand that mistakes happen and I get that we're all human beings. But, in this scenario it was NOT my fault in any way, shape, or form. I was met with rudeness, incompetence, and overall an unwillingness to acknowledge the mistake on their part. It's a no for me.
