My complaints center around the app and the lack of integration with the use case of the 24/7 share vehicles The entire priduc5 is based on the mobile phone, and spontaneity (why else would you rent a truck say 3am ) yet there is no way to say extend the rental in the app. I had numerous problems extending my rental..

The biggest issue is the website. The interface is clunky and not intuitive. I got 15 minutes into registering and it suddenly shut down and took me back to the sign-in page. Then the truck door did not automatically open and I had to call customer service for help. The customer service rep I talked to was friendly and helpful and able to get the door unlocked fairly quickly and I appreciated her. All in the process took an hour though, which I was not anticipating, and it set me behind for the rest of a full day of deliveries.

unlocking the car was a nightmare. 2 people walking nearby said they had the same problem. how to unlock car? and upon return the message told me to drop keys in a nonexistent box. get it together. work on the user experience please!

By far the worst experience I've had renting from U-Haul for the last 25 years. I waited 2 hours to get into a vehicle, spoke to roadside assistance twice, 3 live chats and 2 other phone calls. Then I was charged for 2 extra hours.

The process of making an online reservation is abysmal. The user flow is terrible -- it's clunky, and progress is easily lost with one click that falls outside the expected sequence, and you have to start all over again. At that point it's unclear if the reservation went through or not. I accidentally made two reservations because of this, then once I realized it, cancelled one reservation, but when I went into the app to pick up the van, both reservations were gone. The rental and pick up processes has too many steps and is unnecessarily complicated. I have experienced enough frustration with Uhaul in general that I may never use Uhaul again. This experience may have been the last straw.

I had entered a preferred location that was miles away from the location where I picked up the van. It wasn't clear until I was actually at the preferred location that I actually had to drive about two miles to get to the actual pick-up location.

The app does not have a fluid user experience. I was told that it could not complete my transaction and had to "cancel" before being able to move forward in the app process to get the car keys. I was not provided with a key lock combo to reopen the lock and drop off my keys when returning the van. When I finally got a code for the key lock, it was for the key lock in the other stall. Luckily there were only 2 stalls so I tried the code on the other stall because it wasn't too inconvenient. The 24/7 app system needs solid improvement. It worked in the end but I needed to be on the phone with customer support for both pick up and drop off. Much more time consuming than expected. Would prefer to speak with a representative in-person.

The code to the dropbox for the key was changed during my reservation, and I was never alerted. It took 10 minutes of being on the phone with Uhaul with people who had no idea how to resolve the issues until I finally spoke to someone who know what the code was changed to. Very frustrating.

Please provide the lockbox code again when returning keys. I would not have been able to reopen it unless I remembered the code (I locked it after retrieving the key under the assumption that I would have been able to get the code again when returning)

reduce the references request. If I giveyou my AMEX#, all my contact information, that should be enough. The pictures was a waste of time as well. The app is terrible,& the tel numberts you list do not work. Van was filthy
