I had a reserved furniture dolly and the location did not have one. The rep said they rented their last one Friday and it was now in LA. Made no effort to get me another one until I prompted him to call another location and see if they had one. I was offered an appliance dolly but I needed a furniture dolly , hence the reservation. I had to go out of my way approx 30 minutes round trip to get the dolly I had reserved.

I went here first to pick up a 15 ft truck I had reserved the day before. The truck was not there and had not been returned by another customer. The person there did very little to help me. In front of him I looked up another location that had the truck I needed while he clicked around on his computer saying he didn't know the inventory code. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed in his customer service.

Picking up/returning the truck was painless and quick. Person at the desk was nice and helpful. Photographing our licenses took the longest because of the weak cell phone reception.

Gps was a little wonky when i tried to use my phone to pick up the van. I ended up walking in and doing it the old-fashioned way. The rest of my experience was excellent— customer service was superb, bathroom was clean, and the van I rented was amazing! One satisfied customer here. Will definitely be back ??

Very busy location. I also could not reach them on the phone. Precious was very nice, helpful, considerate, knowledgeable, hardworking, and professional. I am so happy that he helped me so much and answered all of my questions. They accommodated me on the truck I wanted, which I really appreciated. That truck was awesome. It was a cross country 15 foot super mover. It was clean and drove very well. We had no issues on the road. Pick up and drop off were both very easy. I highly recommend Uhaul.

Gas was only at 1/4 tank. Had to get gas just after pickup. Everything else was great.

The truck was in poor condition and hard to drive. I returned it after hours and followed the online return instructions but was unable to proceed past step one where it asks for a pic of the miles and gas level. It would not allow me to take or upload a photo or progress any further. I left the contract and keys. The whole process was from rental to return was annoying.

The fact that U-Hau U-box hires mostly women todeliver the boxes is absolutely amazing I will say I wasnot happy my boxes were moved from the Escondido location in California to the one in Poway, Ca. I had no choice and I was already in Colorado. I also was not happy at all that I was charged for storage in replication one for the Poway location and then again at the one in Denver (this was when my boxes had only been there for a few days and were delivered right away to me in Longmont, Co.) I had to make 6 calls to get to the right person to rectify it.I am waiting for the refund. Note that I rated the Poway center location poor as I never had a chance to see it.

Honor the reservation that is made by the customer without trying to make them feel like a criminal. I arrived to pick up my truck only to find they were in the process of renting it to a walk in customer, had I been 5 minutes later I and my daughter who I was moving on a very tight schedule would have SCREWED ! They told me I did not arrive at 8:00 am ( there opening time) therefore they were not obligated to save it for me. This situation was on the verge of getting ugly, fortunately they advised the walk in they would need to go to another location for a truck because I did have a reservation, they processed me as a walk in as they had already cancelled my reservation which I had made 5 days earlier. If what they did is within the operational guidelines of Uhaul then rest assured I will NEVER give your company another dollar out of my pocket. Very disturbing.

I spoke with several people in your Murrietta/Temecula office. I was forced to call your office over 10 times. I wan put on hold and transferred needlessly and unhelpfully countless times. The staff was unhelpful, uninformed, and unable to understand simple questions. I will never use U-haul again.

I would not recommend Uhaul to friends or family, as my experience was not great. Our box arrived later than the guaranteed arrival date, restricting me from accessing it before a work trip I planned the box arrival around. It should not be called a "guaranteed" arrival if that is not the case. Furthermore, the process of having to call with questions on delivery is incredibly inefficient. The online portal is close to useless. Scheduling the box to be delivered to my home was a huge pain and took much longer than expected. Why can we not schedule it before it arrives? I assume to account for tardiness of the box arriving at the facility? Uhaul needs to be better. That being said, the staff were always friendly and helpful.

I drove the 10-ft truck 14 miles and used 4.5 gallons. That works out to be about 3 mpg. I did not expect the truck to use so much gas.

I rented a truck and the rep Plejhur Mays kept telling me the truck was brand new and did not have a scratch on it. He was very insistent that I be very careful with renting the truck since it was brand new. I found this very inconvenient as it added on an extra level of stress/anxiety to my already stressful situation of having a time constraint. I'm renting a truck for crying out loud and I also opt'd for the $10 accidental damage fee so there is no need to add extra pressure to the CUSTOMER to bring the truck back in tip top shape. I've rented here once before and have never had this kind of experience.

This UHaul location is understaffed and does not have enough resources. There are very few trucks available. Although the staff was as helpful as they could be, there is no communication between the call center and this location. I called the reservations line twice to make sure this site would have my U-boxes available for me when I went to access them. When I got there, a manager told me there was no scheduled pickup. Furthermore, the lock I had put on one of the U-boxes was gone and had been replaced with a standard UHaul lock with no available key. I was afraid my stuff had been tampered with. Although, thankfully, that did not seem to be the case, there was no record on their computers as to why the lock was changed and what happened to mine. This is definitely stressful and disconcerting to the customer. The staff at this site did the best they can, but they have limited resources and I had to go elsewhere to get a truck to come back and unload my U-boxes.The quality of service could be much better.
