Very disorganized location, the guy didn't know how to use the system properly, kept locking up the transaction, had to reboot his system 3 times, I pre-paid for everything weeks before my pick-up, to "save time", but all it did was confuse him, wasted an hour at U-Haul, caused me to be late for an event later in the day, pre-paid for a furniture dolly, which was also confirmed on my pre-paid receipt, but was told he didn't have one and ended up with an appliance dolly, which was no help, there was a reason I paid for a furniture dolly, because I was moving a lot of furniture, not appliances. If this was my only experience with U-Haul, I would never use U-Haul again or recommend U-Haul, but luckily I have used other U-Haul's and know they aren't all this bad.

I reserved online and when I got there, the truck wasnt out on the lot. The online information about the location indicated there was no attending UHaul rep at the time I was to pick up (8:30am), so I called the 800 number to find out what to do. Waited for 15 minutes online, and then decided I better see if anyone in the service station could assist. They were able to help, and acually had the truck in a backlot, not visible from the parking area visible from the street and where the online service indicated where it would be. If I can avoid ever using UHaul in the future, I will.

What I reserved is not what I got. What they wanted to substitute would have been too heavy for my vehicle. Ridiculous that you can make a reservation 2 weeks in advance and be told the day before- "Oh, sorry- we do t have what you reserved"

We had a confirmed rental time at 8am. The guy didn't show up until 9:30am. We waited around for an hour and a half which put us two hours behind in our move. Completely unacceptable. Not to mention the alignment on the truck was terrible. I had to have the wheel hard left to keep it straight. I will never rent form that location again or ever recommend them to anyone.

If the uhaul pickup location is changed, notify the customer. Also, I booked my pickup/ drop off online. However, when I went in-store they literally asked me all of the same into again. Why did I do it online if I was going to have to redo it?

They gave us the wrong pick up address, which instead of being 10 minutes away, we had to trek on over way outside of the city to pick up the truck at a random gas station. We were told that we were going to get a confirmation call, but never received one. We also reserved a 10', but ended up 15'. After picking up the vehicle, we discovered that the tail light on the dolly was out, so we had to call their service for them to arrive and fix their own problem. It was incredibly frustrating to pick up an already faulty vehicle. Not only that, but the people that came to fix it didn't screw the light back in, so it was dangling early on in the drive. Fortunately we had tape. Again, very frustrating.

The gas station was closed when I showed up at my scheduled time, 9:00. Someone showed up at 9:30 to open the gas station, but no one could help with uhaul rentals. By 10:15 I finally had my truck.

The gas tank was not full as I was told it would be on pick up. I drove it 14 miles and filled it up it took 3.3 gallons of gas to stop the pump automatically . I did not use 3.3 gallons of gas to drive 14 miles. I drove it back to the pick up point a total of 30 miles round trip. I contacted the U-Haul dealer regarding a refund of some of my gasoline expense. I have not been contacted regarding a request for partial refund on my gas expense. Kevin Hehner

On my reservation, it said "You are scheduled to pickup your equipment at McNamaras Auto Center & Tire Inc on Sunday, April 02, 2017 at 8:15 AM for 8 hours ." There are actually two of these business about 1 mile away from each other. It would be good to include the address with this reservation reminder! Thanks.

In my opinion, cruise control should be standard equipment (at least on smaller trucks - my rental was a 15' truck). Also, this vehicle had been driven by a smoker, and there was a remnant odor. Understand this is hard to control, but nonetheless objectionable to a non-smoker. Equipment was clean, rather new, and appliance dolly and pads were as expected. Dealer was very helpful.
