Employ some real people and give them livable wages. Automating the pickup and drop off process is insane. The only redeemable part of today was the kind and understanding staff at the drop off location. Today would have been a fraction as stressful if real humans had been able to help with the pickup.

My truck was clearly not inspected or cleaned between trips because the entirety of the floor bed and ramp was covered in dirty grease or oil which delayed our busy move out day many hours since we did their job and cleaned it by hand. Because if an employee actually did inspect this, they’d know how dangerous the conditions were as even a member of our family fell. This accrued more cost in the form of cleaning labor and supplies, etc.. I am still waiting to hear back from a rep regarding this dirty and dangerous situation they put us in for our move. This site is not a true U haul and had no U haul representative for me to address my concerns with as they referred me to call the 1-800 number. Despite my efforts weeks prior to my move to try picking up my truck at an actual U haul location and not a 3rd party vendor as this was my exact concern, they could not accommodate this. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I received and U haul needs to address this immediately.
Lyahn HThe app made our check in turn into an hour ordeal. Not sure why it wasn't working but a feature of the app wasn't loading, therefore it wasn't letting us notify that we were there to pick up the truck.
Jacob MThey didn't have the moving pads that I had reserved a week prior. Had to go to another location to try to pick up the pads, which took about 30 minutes to accomplish. Had I known I would need to go to a second location, I would have just reserved everything there.
Todd MRenting from Uhaul was a frustrating experience... Because Uhaul really wants me to use their app -- which is buggy -- I ended up spending way too much time fighting the app but then also dealing with a live person -- who hardly knew what she was doing. Basically, I lost an hour of my time so that Uhaul could save 5 minutes of theirs.
