I had to drive from las vegas to st. George to get the trailer. I was told they would add an extra day to the time. The web site where I reserved the trailer said it was for 5 days. With an extra day I should have had 6. But.. I got a call on day 4 asking what time I expected to drop off trailer, as it was due in. I happen to be on the way to drop the trailer at the time buttons was frustrating I thought I wax dropping early and actually was right in time. If the web site says 5 days so should the contract
Lockdown on rear busted. Drove off and rear sliding door opened. Luckily not much fell out. Did not see it at ffirst. Guy behind me hookef

Walked into the office and two guys just stared at me. Finally I volunteered that I had some equipment to return and they mumbled okay and took care of the equipment. Not exactly a gracious end to the rental experience.
This was the ow worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul, The store in St George on Dixie was my only lifesaver. I rented a truck in California, four days prior to moving my whole life, they tell me they can only give me 2 ten foot trucks. I was wondering what I would have to get rid of. Then I rent one down in Parma 3 hours away. I get up early on a Saturday to pick it up out of state and it is not there. I then had to drive to St George to pick up a truck to go to California, do my packing then come back to st George. They even charged me for extra mile when I would not have driven the miles if they hadn't made me chase a truck all over the southwest
Dropped after hours, but called earlier and was advised were to put the trailer.
The truck was ready as promised, I had previously purchased UHaul boxes at this location. All was good. Thanks to Debbie.
Best part was after I returned vehicle, they were honest and ethical to credit back mileage not used. That's what made the experience great with a cherry on top!
The staff is amazing and accommodating. The trailer I rented was mostly functional. We did find that whoever returned it last had some damage to it that was overlooked.

Location closed during business hours, can't drop off truck. Had to bang on a window to get anyone who refused to help. Awful.

Give your customers more then a 12 hour notice when they have to drive out of State to pickup the truck.
I had a flat tire. I called roadside assistance and they were unable to help me (estimate time 6 hours). I personally changed the tire and bought a tire in Las Vegas and mounted it. This was not the fault of the vendor on Dixie Dr. They are remarkable.
We rented a 6X12 cargo trailer for 4 days to move our daughter to St George. Everything was good when we picked up the trailer; the attendant attached it to my truck's hitch and secured it. And showed me how to take it off and on as I told him I would need to do that. I wasn't warned that the trailer tongue was not equipped with a mechanism to raise and lower it when I needed to detach it from my vehicle during the 4 days it was at her condo complex. I detached it and loaded it but was not able to manually raise the tongue to re-attach it to my vehicle's hitch. Uhaul roadside assist could not help me. I spent over an hour trying to reach them and plea for their help. I had to pay a towing company $70.00 to come and assist me raising the tongue and attaching it to the vehicle. When I returned the trailer and told the attendants about the unforeseen problem we had, we were met with indifference from both attendants. I asked the attendant that disconnected the trailer why there wasn't a mechanism on the tongue to raise or lower it. He said, "you'll have to ask Uhaul." I told him it sounded like they've had similar complaints in the past and he shook his head yes and went on about his business. The lady at the counter just gave my wife her area manager's business card and made a statement similar to ... no one told you you could take it off or not take it off.... then walked off to help another customer. We are in the process of contacting the appropriate Uhaul administrators to reconcile this issue. Too improve, I'd suggest a bit more customer empathy when issues like this arise and more concern to help the customer reach a resolution; remembering that those of us who use the equipment rarely use it and are unfamiliar with some of the intricacy's. A heads up when the equipment is picked up could have allowed me to get a large block of wood to prop the tongue up enough for a easy re-attachment to the vehicle.

Everything was great. No issues here and it was a very good experience.
