We waited for nearly an hour to get our truck even though we had filled out all of the required information online ahead of time, which was very frustrating. Then, we had to take our car home since there wasn’t any parking available and it was then we realized the moving blankets we paid for (and discussed with the girl at the desk) were not in the truck, so we had to go back to the store and get them, which was also frustrating because it wasted more time.



Headlights need to be up graded they give off a yellow color one of your customer service reps in the store showed exceptional patience with a very stupid attitude customer I was ready to say something To the man because he was out of line your man in the store was very respectful and professional I was impressed how he handled it well done

I had problems with the truck and had to return it because it was covered in oil and reschedule my move. The second try, the truck was cleaned of oil, but very dirty (my couch turned black because of it). Problem with billing in that they didn't know how to enter my credit, then swore that they'd enter the credit upon return which they didn't, and now my bill has a case number waiting for a call back from a billing specialist since I'm being told that the credit was supposed to be entered before the truck was returned. Every time I call the branch direct number, I get a call center from another state who refuses to put me through to the branch. It seems as though many of my problems can be resolved with talking in 5 minutes with someone at the branch. Instead I'm passed around a lot, calls disconnected, told I have to wait for call backs that don't happen, and causes me a lot of frustration and wastes hours of my time. I want Uhaul employees better trained so that I can be told correct information, people know how to enter in a credit certificate number, understand that billing can help with billing issues rather than telling me I have to wait for a phone call, that someone actually calls me back when I'm told I'm to wait for a phone call, the order of events that need to occur before a complaint can be made, what to do when someone calls with a complaint about a truck in hazardous condition in that the truck needs to be returned first before the complaint can be made, and that locations have more than 1 17foot truck. I know someone who's rented a truck from this location a couple of years ago, only for the Uhaul to have rented out his truck despite his reservation. They had no other truck, and he had to reschedule his move as well. Overall, it would be nice that there's more training, as well as a way for customers to be able to get in direct contact with the branch they are dealing with. Most of my issues need to be handled by that branch - not some call center who makes things worse and can't help me. Uhaul is asking for trouble and opens the door to bad customer service this way.

They were able to determine I didn't do any of the damages to the trailer. They gave me credit for the hand truck since the origin store hooked a damage trailer up. I feel the origin store should credit me the full amount for the trailer. They had no way of knowing I would not have had an accident because of their carelessness.

USB port inside the vehicle was broken



The staff was aware that certain lot across the street that could not be used for parking personal vehicles or temporarily storing U-Haul trucks. However, rather than tell us they simply put an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper on the door along with 17 other notices. They use 12 font Times new Roman and expected that we would all just read everything it’s on every door and every wall on every ceiling on every floor on every every every everywhere This is moronic at best and just plain mean at worst. My truck is almost told by the paving company and I had to drive 90 miles an hour from Flushing Michigan to rescue all my daughters belongings. This could’ve easily been avoided by simple communications what’s the staff – the entire staff at the store are completely incapable of executing obviously

I had problem understanding why we had to wait so late in the day for an available unit. But with the 24 hour drop off all worked out.



Agent that closed the transaction in the store could have been more professional. He nodded his head instead of saying hello or may I help you? If I had not said anything he would have just sat in his chair and looked at me. It was a very weird interaction.

Unclear after hours key drop location. Was charged a $50 key cutting fee when the key had been left in a locking box on the side of the building. When I called in the morning to verify they had everything (key, truck, dolly) the person on the phone would not confirm that they had my equipment and told me to call the pick up location to verify the vehicle had been turned in. Very unsatisfied. Will not use UHaul again in the future.
