We had trouble with the app. We had a lot of trouble with the app when we were returning the truck so we were glad that the location was open and able to help us.

The only problem I had was with the traffic manager supervisor, I believe his name is Kevin. Since the tow dolly and track were in seperate locations, my plan was to attach the tow dolly to my vehicle and then pick up the truck. I could then attach the tow dolly to the truck, load the car and then proceed. The owner at St. Charles, the location of the tow dolly, called the traffic manager who then consulted with Kevin. She came back with a "not allowed" from Kevin. This meant that I had to make a 25 mile drive to De Kalb, the location of the truck, leave my car there and make the 25 mile drive back to St. Charles for the dolly. I then picked up some furniture in Sycamore but had to drive back to De Kalb to load the car onto the tow dolly. This cost me approximately 2 hours on what was a long trip. This is the first time I have had a bad experience in all my dealings with Uhaul. If customer assistance and service is important, then I would recommend assigning Kevin to another position where he will not be having a negative effect on customer satisfaction.

Stop charging your customers for an entire day when they return your trucks within 2 hours of the time it was due back. That's a crappy thing to do! Until that policy changes, neither friends nor family of mine will use or recommend UHaul.

The reservation was not done correctly . The cost of this mistake was priceless . In a bad way . We reserved to 2 nights . They could only accommodate one night . This cost an opportunity to spend time with family that cannot be replaced

Rental before me brought the truck back late. The manager kept us informed by calling the current rental multiple times to get the truck back asap.

My rental experience went well until I returned the vehicle and was over charged by $100.40 for mileage, which was included on my confirmation. My reservation clearly stated that I was allowed 634 miles as I was quoted when entering the details of my move on your website. I paid in full upfront. Somewhere along the line my the mileage allowance was lowered to 306 in your system, which is not what I was quoted. I replied to your e-mail asking for feedback about my experience and submitted an inquiry on your website. There's been no attempt to acknowledge or contact me which leads me to believe that I've been ripped off and no one is willing to do anything about it. I can't recommend anyone do business with a company like yours who engages in unethical business practices.

I had a horrible experience for my first time using uhaul. I had a confirmed rental near me but when I showed up there was no trucks available. They then sent me to St. Charles which is 40 minutes away from the original location and then charged me full price for the extra miles accumulated on the rental even though they sent me there because of their mistake.

The women that check us back in was very unfriendly. During the time of the drop off, I informed her that we had left the rented furniture dolly at the house. I told her to return the truck and the utility dolly and we would bring back the other rental. She would not except that so we had to bring back all equipment at the same time. When we returned, she proceeded to check us in but was interrupted numerous times with other convenient store customers and phone calls. Because of her time of dealing with other customers and not letting us return the equipment, we were charged for two days and she said that there is nothing she can do. We were over the time 24 hour time limit by 12 minutes and were charged almost $40.00 of which 20 minutes of that was because of a slow check in. Her customer service skills were the worst I have ever experienced.

Used the u haul app my phone wasn’t receiving internet not your fault which I had to used my son phone which l had to go more steps to get started. It took a lot of time and 3 day l did get a phone call staying I had to go to a different area to pick up the truck further away from where I had to go.

The self check out process is earful. I almost threw my phone against the wall. The website would not load and every time I reloaded it, I had to start over. It took over 45 minutes to complete. Ridiculous...! Never doing that again.

Location where we reserved our rental had no truck for us , it had broke down the night before. The agent at tool time found us a rental ,but it was located almost 25 miles away. We lost 2 hours. Good thing my wife had her smart phone because we had to do the paper work that way. That took a long time. Good service otherwise .
