State of Truck: When i received the truck, there were several empty and partially empty water bottles from a previous move in the rear of the truck. There were also several used red plastic SOLO cups in the cab of the truck. The engine of the truck was very loud and appeared to be having problems running at times. Because of this, when driving to my destination after loading the truck, I avoided driving on the Interstate to avoid the possibility of having a possible engine failure on the shoulder of the Interstate. Site Issues: When reserving my U-Haul truck via the website over 10 days prior to my move, I requested at least 3 dozen moving blankets to help protect my belongings during the move. However, when I arrived to pick up the truck, I was told there were no blankets to be given to me. Because of this, several pieces of my furniture got slightly damaged, and the headboard to my bed got severely scratched during the move.

The reservation app on the website needs to be fixed. I reserved a truck for 9:00 and submitted it. 30 min later I changed the time of pickup by one hour. The web site changed my length of rental from 24 hours back to the default of 4 hours. This caused me lose the rental I had reserved because the truck was now booked to someone else 4 hours into my 24 hour rental. Please fix this bug!

Pick up location was changed, by uhaul, from reserved location without notification. You can send me confirmation emails, receipt emails, survey emails, but not a ‘we are going to make you drive all over town to pick up our product at our convenience email’.

The truck was clean but noxious fumes came into the cabin. Had to drive with the windows open in winter. The fuel gauge had to be returned with 1/4 tank, making it hard to drive without running out of gas. :-(

The customer service is absolutely the WORST. I initially tried several other locations prior to the Holcomb Bridge locations and was unable to book due to unavailability. This location does not answer the phone AT ALL. This was also confirmed as an ongoing issue from another location (that was also low on inventory). The guy that assisted my at the Holcomb Bridge location did not greet or communicate with me during the in-person pick-up visit. He asked for my Id and my estimated number of mileage usage for the trip. He did not escort me to the truck but instead handed me a key, pointed from behind the counter in the direction where it would be located. Not even a thank you for my business. The next day I returned it and again (without a greeting), he took the key and instructed me to take a picture of the mileage and show it to him in order to complete my transaction. Once I did that, I informed him that signage on the pump states that no ccs could be used and gas must be paid for inside. He asked how much I needed, I guesstimated about $10 and paid. Well the $10 took the tank almost 2 quarters over the return line. He refused to credit my the overage, proceeded to charge me for all mileage used and said that I should have put a little gas in at a time and continued to check the meter until it was where it need to be. There was a verbal argument about how unethical that was and he responded with "that's your problem. No credits are given." I hesitated on reserving with this location because I've heard about unpleasant service from a close friend but I was open to trying (especially with the other locations being unavailable). I WILL NEVER USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I would much rather drive to an inconvenient location just for better and more professional service. The truck reeked of cigarette smoke and trash was left behind from a previous customer. THIS WAS MONEY WASTED!

The uhaul rep was extremely rude and disrespectful. He tried charging me twice for the truck. Before deciding to get the dolly, I asked if it was a flat Estee of $7 or $7/day and he insisted it was a flat fee, only to end up charging me $21 after i returned it. He then proceeded to try to charge me $5/gallon of gas although I had put $30 in the tank to fill it... I have never had such a terrible experience with uhaul before. I always use your services and have had not one complaint, but this may be the last time I decide to go with uhaul.

No one would answer the phone from 5pm. Called back to NC and they said that drop off site was open till 6pm. Got there at 5:50 and no one was there, left trailer in yard, and copy of rental agreement in drop box.

I was charged fees I had know idea about. I was charged a safe move fee and a credit card payment fee. I was returned the truck during business hours same day and attendant wouldnot check me out so iI could see charges. I did not pay these fees two weeks ago when I used your truck from Cornelius NC. I think this GA place was excessive with fees and not forth coming. Probably want use UHaul again.
