Make sure the contact is understood. Do not rent a truck that doesn't have a half tank of gas and expect the customer to bring it back full. The $19.99 rental turned out to be $38.00

Where do I start??? I arrived on time at 7am to pick up the truck and logged into the app and instead of getting the keys to my truck that had been ordered and then confirmed...I find out that someone at this location forgot to put the keys in the lock box so I had to wait for 2 hours and delay my movers, who are paid by the hour, because someone didn’t do their job. I did speak with a few extremely nice customer service agents for 2 hours who tried everything possible to help me...but were unable. Then at 9am when the manager arrived he didn’t even offer a single apology or even acknowledge anything when I told him we were waiting 2 hours because someone didn’t do their job. The truck we received was in fine working order, however, and when we turned it in I did receive a $50 credit toward the price and an apology from the employee that had actually made the mistake. I’m not sure this was really enough of a reimbursement after everything we went through and the time we spent sitting and waiting for 2 solid hours with no one showing up or caring at all that we were waiting and delayed because of their mistake. I had to tip extra to my movers because their time is valuable and they got delayed. I feel like uhaul should be responsible for some of those costs. So much stress was added to an already stressful day. I do appreciate the $50 credit, but an apology goes a long way and I was very disappointed in the absolute lack of empathy we received at 9am when the manager arrived. I will never rent a uhaul from this location again because I wouldn’t trust the truck would be ready. Learned a valuable lesson...call and confirm your order...and then do it again...and again...and again...and maybe you will get your truck on time.

I got to say I never do surveys, but the guy I believe is Allen whom stated he's only been employed by u haul for two weeks went above and beyond. He's a great asset to your company and has management written all over him. He also took the time to take care of me despite the fact that I arrived exactly at closing time. The problem I had was I had requested a cargo van. When I arrived there were none available. I was given a truck in which I was limited In What I carried. I had a lot of glass and was unable to carry the majority of what I needed to carry for the wedding I was doing.

As always, Mr. Calving goes out of his ay to make the rental process painless. He is very good to work with and makes everyone feel at ease. I was also helped unloading this afternoon by a nice young man named Alan Jackson. He was very polite and helpful. Management must be training staff well.
