I scheduled a van rental and got a box truck instead, understaffed and not really helpful in stating that the hold on my credit card while paying cash was gonna take up to 2 weeks to get back to my account until after I paid cash. They overcharged my credit card $10 but I'm just gonna eat it because I just don't want to ever have to deal with them again. Horrible place all around

The assistant manager Allan, was unresponsive and gave me incorrect information also seemed unwilling to cooperate in giving me the drop off cost. But worst of all he was angry at me and after 20 min. of me asking him to remove the trailer from my car, he stomped over to the trailer and angrily removed the trailer and dropped it to the ground dramatically lifting and throwing it to the ground and walked away from me like I didn't matter and he was not talking to me. The first problem was no one could give me a rate change if any for dropped of to a different location. First i called customer service they said i had to go to the actual location only they could calculate the rate but the first time i was at Roseville, MI uhaul the day i dropped off I spoke to Allan and he could NOT DO ANYTHING OR HELP IN ANY WAY he basically stared at his phone and said nothing he never asked for my name, phone number or contract number. He said from Asheville to here would be $130. I bought some bags and left to unload the trailer. I came back about 4:15pm because it was due at 4:30 for return. I am requesting some time of refund for all the phone calls and misinformation i was giving and not given. When i called 2 time to CS they did give me until 4:30 and we added one extra day. But the unprofessional unhelpful action and inaction of the Assistant manager of Roseville, MI was ridiculous. He also told me "I'm telling you, you are going to be changed for 2 extra days and i can't close your contract". I replied to him but i need to get this uhaul trailer returned and to get it off my car, this went on for at least 20 min. back and forth. I finally replied again can someone take this trailer off my car......I also told him he could tell me what ever her wants but it's a free country and i need to get this trailer off my car!!!!! That's when he stomped outside and quickly grabbed my cord and trailer throwing it to the ground and stomped by me. I took pictures of the trailer and Roseville Mi address in front of it to have some proof i returned the trailer. You'd think i was asking him to do me a favor for everything was a problem with him. I called customer service (Maggie) and explain how i left the trailer there at Rosevelle, Mi and never got a receipt for drop off. I've been to the Roseville location back in Sept. 2017 and the manager there fixed something that was installed incorrectly on my hitch he was very good but he was not there the of these issues. Store opened a little later than the advertised 0900 on Sunday. Once inside, was taken care of promptly and completely with the guys explaining all of the details of my rental and loading the trailer on my truck. They indicated I could call back and extend the reservation if I was running late (which I needed to) at no charge. Return process was smooth. I don't trailer that often so they were patient with me while I got the trailer backed in. Will be back for future rentals.

Access to get into the u haul lot is dangerousness because of traffic on Gratiot in the I-94 exit. There should be other entrance into the property .

trailer was covered in a white substance that looked like road salt had to pressure wash this before using. we had salt on everyone and everything.Hand crank needed to be oiled or greased. The guy that took care of us was very professional and friendly.
