EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, THAT'S WHY I CHOOSE ONLY THIS LOCATION
I was sent to a location that was 45 minutes from my house when a large company owned location is less than a mile away from where I live and specifically selected the nearby option as booked in person. This is unacceptable and I feel like I deserve a refund. The trailer that I received wasted, dirty, and rode low to the ground. Only two weeks before, I received a newer trailer that road level to the ground on the same vehicle and hitch. The difference? This trailer has Illinois plates and I was traveling to Illinois. In short, U-haul made me drive 45 minutes each way, out of my way, so I could pick up an old, poorly maintained trailer and take it to Illinois when there was a company owned store near me. This is shameful behavior and I will avoid renting from UHaul in the future. At UHaul, it's clear that the customer comes last.

Inspect equipment completely before renting it out. Especially the part of the tires that may be on the ground not visible.
Again it took an hour to return the truck after a long day on the phone. Not user friendly. Additional gas charge that should be refunded. Paid for 48 hrs rental and returned in less than 24 hrs. They need to look at the pictures I submitted on there check - in and return.
The customer service at the counter was the best.
Clean the truck, the front of the truck was so covered in bugs I could not see in the setting sun and had to stop at.a gas station to scrub the windshield. Plus I pre-qualified for the truck and sent in the license photos, when I arrived to pickup I had to do that all over again.... took me 30 minutes while waiting. There were other issues with the pickup process but don't have time to get into it.
Nothing really, the associate were so friendly and willing to help. Thank you guys , you alway good.
had issue with checking in with mobile phone but on-site service rep was very helpful and pleasant and checked me in and out quickly

The truck we rented was very dirty. The doors, steering wheel and dash had sticky residue that looked like a drink spilled somewhere. I had to wipe the inside before we even drove the truck.
Have the truck ready for pick up when scheduled.
using the app SUCKS and took way longer than needed for no reason. should have been quick and easy, but was not letting me say I dropped the vehicle off and if took me 30 min to get through. also, pick up had too much unnecessary information needed considering you had my information and everything before hand and if i needed a second contact number it should have been listed before hand so i was ready. lady working here was super nice but the customer service on the phone and the app were shit
Tfhe staff at compass is amazing.
very disappointed the bed of the truck had dirt all over the floor didn't know this because just pick up truck and went to location to pick up my new furniture didn't even get out of truck at the furniture store went home had my helpers unload the furniture into my house i came back into the room notice all the dirt on my living floor and carpet and bottom ridge of my new furniture i was very upset contacted the u haul location they were very sorry and said they would do something for me on my next rental which was a very days after they did discount the next rental but only $15.00 was not very happy about that. i rent your trucks occasionally for my business and this is the second time in the last few months that i have been disappointed. michele nonis
The man who helped me get setup when I arrive was extremely helpful and kind. Definitely great service. My only complaint is that uhaul really needs to have a deal for those who are driving far so that they aren't paying a dollar per mile and end up spending almost 400 dollars alone just on the mileage.

The online check in really needs to improve. I did everything the day prior (payment, adding my driver license etc)....the morning off I had to re-enter everything. Then had to wait for an approval! It was a long process even when I planned ahead and had it â€œall set to goâ€

No improvement needed. Exceptionally helpful and friendly. I have been to a couple of other uhaul rentals, but after this experience, I will not be going anywhere else.
