So much Hassel and a waste of my time ran into problems with the return CD was no help i had to talk to 2 diffrent agents the first guy was an idiot first he insisted there was a drop box at my return place then in the middle of the conversation transfared me back to the becoming to the recorded message. The 2nd was a girl that helped but I still had to waste my time going to a second uhaul and they had an attitude. Also the app needs work when I checked in at the last step it crashed so I did notknow what to doMike M.

The U-Haul app did NOT WORK and we were unable to pick up the truck. We tried using the chat function and we telephoned as well. No luck. We tried to sign on on different phones, no luck on either. We waited for an hour and a half for the shop at the location to open, so that they could assist and get the keys out of the lock box. As a result, we were late. What if we had planned the pick up on Sunday, when the shop is closed? The passenger door of the truck did not close properly and the light saying the door was open was on constantly. THERE WAS NO RAMP IN THE TRUCK, which made the job incredibly difficult. We had to PAY SOMEONE to help us lift items into the truck. This was an unanticipated EXTRA cost. Why was there no ramp? Why were we not informed during the online booking that this particular truck (10') had no ramp?? What is a SAFE TRIP fee ($5)??Katherine W.
The owner/manager of this location, a large man with white hair and beard was one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I rent from U haul quite often. I walked into the store and asked to rent a van around 12pm. He told me the only way he would rent to me would be if I returned it by 6pm. I said I needed the van overnight and he told me they refuse to rent overnight. He stated that Uhaul changed their policy 30 days ago and no longer allows you to rent overnight vans. I stated "i do this alot and never heard this rule before?" He told me to get out of his face because he had customers to deal with and he wasn't going to speak with me and go back and forth. He did not need to explain himself and I was welcome to take it up with Uhaul. I then had to walk outside and rent the truck online in order to actually have the van overnight. When I walked back in with my confirmation number, he reluctantly handed me the keys and called me an asshole. When I returned the truck the next morning and walked back in to drop the keys he again cursed me out and stated "I'm glad you can think you can make up your own rules dick!" This is completely unacceptable of anyone that is affiliated with your company and how can an authorized dealer claim to make up their own rules. I work in production and we rent trucks all the time. At this point I really never want to deal with Uhaul again after the way I was treated.Timothy R.
The equipment and staff are impeccable. Please make sure the door pocket on the vans are marked correctly, fit my phone perfectly, but when I closed the door, my phone was destroyed, $600 item. The passenger door had a tiny decal that must have fallen off on my door, but even there, not wearing reading glasses, the image was so tiny I'd not have likely seen it. (The sticker with a picture of a phone and a red circle/line over it is about half an inch square. So the rental cost about 1/3 the price of replacing the phone. Does insurance for the van cover that?Gary R.
This is an excellent location for pick up and drop off for anyone that lives in the Palos Verdes area. It is so conveniently. It is run by a family and you can tell they care about customer service !Shari W.
