The latch for the overhead door got stuck behind the top of the top of the door opening and I had to use a tool to pry the opening away so the latch would clear and allow the door to close. May be a design flaw, instead of a maintenance issue. There was a dead mouse in the trailer. The service was surprisingly easy and cost effective. I'm sure I will do that again.

Truck was not swept and there was popcorn kernels and napkins on the floor. The lady there was very nice. Location was way out of my way for me, however, U-Haul did their best. Being the people have been so nice that really helped:)

Completed reservation on phone and I didn't need Uhaul insurance. All I had to do is provide my credit card and go. When I looked at the receipt, the representative had added the insurance back in. When I noticed I questioned her and she told me that all one-ways had to have Uhaul's insurance. I said my insurance would cover it and it was not automatically added to my phone quote and that I had to call Uhaul customer service and tell them she made a mistake.

Very good place to rent U-Haul trucks. Great customer service. Truck was ready when I arrived and was clean and well maintained. Picking it up took about 5 min and returning it took less than that. Will rent from again.

Dropped off the truck after hours

The dealer stated they checked all the lights and the trailer i used had a turn signal out and he attempted to fix it on the spot. Then he suggested i had it fixed when i dropped it off. The dealer did not have furniture pads or an appliance dolly. I had to drive another 25 miles out of my way to get furniture pads and a dolly. If i resevered my items for a place of pick up it would be helpful to have the items there. Lastly i reserved for 9am which didn't seem to be a problem online, i got there at 850 am to find out the place didn't open until 10am. And then the run around with the dolly and pads.

Maybe get Uhaul vans with seats for safe transport of family members as well as cargo. And not ask for a major credit card to rent. That is what sets Uhaul above the rest of any rental company.

The office was closed when I came to drop off the truck. I had to spend 45 min to and hour trying to figure out what to do with the truck. Finally I spoke to Amy at 1 800 go uhaul who told me what to do. Thanks so much for your help Amy.

I have never rented a moving truck before so I was not sure how the entire process went. The representative at this location was not friendly nor helpful in any matter, he/she was on the phone with somebody else most of the time while they were processing my information. They also failed to mentioned to me that I only had a centain number of miles that I was allowed to use throughout the two days and every mile that I went over was an extra charge. It would have been nice to know.

i think your $19 a day rental trucks are a bait and switch. one truck at a location is rediculous

Location for U-haul drop off was closed when we went to drop off trailer. Before 2pm. We called number on contract and were told to leave trailer in lot and put papers in key drop box. When I called to verify that someone had checked trailer in I was cut off and could not get someone to pick up when I called back. When I called location in Tuscaloosa where I picked up trailer they were unable to track return. On Thursday Feb. 2 I received a call from U-haul saying my contract was still open. The trailer was dropped off on Saturday Jan. 28. This was a very frustrating experience. There does not seem to be much communication between locations.
