I originally booked a the 6th street location in Corona however when I went to pick up my truck they said my truck was not there and there was nothing they could do for me. After standing there is dismay he located a 10 ft truck which was half the size of my original ordered truck. That meant I had to double my trips and pay more money but he at corona location didn't care. He and the team there needs a lesson in what good customer service looks like. I would love a call back because I am highly disappointed as well as I paid double the price I would have had to and guess what I. Still not finished with my move because I had to turn the truck in. I needed a truck at the last minute. When I called..the gentle man on the phone (sorry forgot name, van Buren store in Riverside, ca). Did a search for me to locate a truck the size and distance of pick up I needed. The friendliness and courtesy continued to the next location to pick up truck. Quick and easy. Thanks guys!Liz B.
The customer service was really horrible the agent that assisted me had a nasty attitude when I asked her about the COVID-19 touchless service Even though I submitted my drivers license and my credit card online and I opted in for touchless service she still insisted that I come inside and bring my information. I feel the van was not properly sanitized. I rented from U-Haul plenty of times so I'm not known to be a complainer but her overall attitude and Customer service was horrible a complete turn off to the BrandIvory M.

I arrived to pick up my reserved truck on time at 9am and it wasn't there. Apparently the previous was scheduled to drop it off at 9am, same as my 9am pick up time. I had to wait 20 minutes which set me back in my day. I would not have minded waiting if I had not had a confirmed reservation but I was prepared and your location was not. I rented this truck to move stuff for work and was prepared with a reservation to do so. It's not my problem that you cannot book reservations accordingly and appropriately. The lady who helped me at the Rentaspace Uhaul location was not only unsympathetic to HER OWN PROBLEM, but most concerningly, she was NOT WEARING A MASK DURING ANY OF MY INTERACTIONS WITH HER NOR DURING ANY OF THE INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS that I witnessed. There are signs outside of the office clearly stating masks are required yet I couldn't even get the same courtesy from your contractor/employee/licensee/or whatever the correct title is?!? During a global pandemic?! Not to mention that the person who used the truck before me arrived without a mask and did not even bother to put one on before walking into your office. The employee did not ask him to wear a mask either, but not like she cares because she wasn't even following the rules service forth by doctors, scientists and the state or CA. This is absolutely unacceptable and absurd. I am also filing a complaint with the county and state health offices. In order to complete this reservation I had to put myself at serious risk of illness because my deadline meant I could not just leave to find a different safer and more considerate uhaul location with an available truck. The truck I received had a nasty deteriorating steering wheel that was probably writhing in bacteria and filth. It clearly is not taken care of at all. The seats were gross and also not taken care of, feeling almost sticky to the touch. The key stuck in the ignition of the vehicle and was difficult to get to turn over until it had been fiddled with for several minutes. Upon drop off, again, the lady who was in the office couldn't even bother to wear a mask for my safety! Although I did that courtesy for her? I am disgusted that inconsiderate people and businesses like this are allowed to operate. I've rented more than one uhaul in the past and I will definitely be thinking more than twice before renting one again in the future. The condition of this truck and the lack of concern for public safety I experienced is disturbing. Shame on you and your people!Kristina G.
